♻️ 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 This was the central theme of the webinar "𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 & 𝗘𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻", co-organised by the DATA4CIRC and RecAL Project. The event brought together experts from industry, policy and leading European innovation projects to discuss how Digital Product Passports (DPPs) can support Europe's transition towards a more digital and circular economy. With more than 110 participants, the webinar was highly attended and generated strong engagement across the European circular economy community, 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 and their role in accelerating the digital and circular transition. The discussions highlighted several key aspects shaping the future of DPP implementation: 🔹 the evolving regulatory framework under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR); 🔹 the role of digital twins, data spaces and secure data sharing; 🔹 practical business cases demonstrating how DPPs can create value across industrial sectors; 🔹 the importance of collaboration between manufacturers, technology providers, policymakers and recyclers to accelerate adoption. 💡 Among the expert speakers, our Founder & CEO, of Monolithos Catalysts & Recycling Ltd. Dr. Iakovos Yakoumis presented the DATA4CIRC perspective, illustrating how Digital Product Passports can evolve from a regulatory requirement into a strategic operational asset for the recycling sector. His presentation highlighted how reliable product data, material traceability and lifecycle information can unlock operational efficiency, strengthen transparency and create measurable business value across the recycling value chain. 🔬 These principles lie at the heart of MONOLITHOS' contribution to the DATA4CIRC project. By combining advanced recycling technologies with trusted product data enabled through Digital Product Passports, we are demonstrating how DPPs can create measurable business value throughout the circular economy. 🤝 We would like to thank the organisers Mr. Jonathan Clark and Mr. Tristan Tiefenbacher-Bath, fellow speakers (Ms. Paraskevi (Evi) Moutsipai from EuroCommerce, Prof. Michael Heiss from Siemens / Technische Universität Wien, Mr. Ivan Mayorov from CANCOM Austria and Ms. Erika Menosso from Electrolux Group) and everyone who participated in this insightful discussion. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with industry, research and policy partners to accelerate the adoption of Digital Product Passports and contribute to Europe's digital and green transition. #DigitalProductPassport #DPP #DATA4CIRC #CircularEconomy #CriticalRawMaterials #Recycling #Digitalisation #DataSpaces #Innovation #EUProjects #MONOLITHOS
