Group boards are a great way to share ideas and plans. As the owner of a group board, you manage the board's settings. To create a group board, invite friends to one of your existing boards.

You can mark your favorite Pins in your group board with a star, then filter your group board to see your and your collaborators’ favorite Pins.

Invite friends to collaborate on your board
  • Log into your Pinterest account, then click your profile picture in the top-right of your screen to open your profile
  • Click your board to open it
  • Click the plus circle icon  below your board name
    • Search by first and last name, username or email address and then click Invite next to the friends you want to add
    • Click Copy link and send it to the friends you want to add
  • Your friends will get an email or notification about your invite. 

  • Open the Pinterest app on your device
  • Log in to your account, then tap your profile picture in the bottom-right corner of your screen to open your saved tab/profile
  • Tap your board to open it
  • Tap the plus circle icon  below your board name
    • Pick a recommended person, or search by first and last name, username or email address then tap Invite next to their name
    • Tap Copy link and send it to the friends you want to add
  • Your friends will get an email or notification about your invite.

    Manage what your group board collaborators can do

    As the owner of a group board, you decide what your collaborators can do on your board.

     

  • Log into your Pinterest account, then click your profile picture
  • Click a group board to open it
  • Click the plus circle icon  above your Pins
  • Click the directional chevron right icon next to Collaborators can…
  • Select the level of access you want your collaborators to have:
    • Do (almost) everything if you want collaborators to be able to add, move and delete Pins and sections as well as comment and react
    • Save and comment if you want collaborators to be able to save and organize Pins, comment and react.
    • Invite other people if you want collaborators to be able to invite others to your group board
    • Board requests if you want people to be able to request to join this board
  • Click Done
  • Open the Pinterest app on your device
  • Log in to your account, then tap your profile picture in the bottom-right of your screen to open your saved tab/profile
  • Tap a group board to open it
  • Tap the plus circle icon  below your board name

  • Remove collaborators from your group board

    You can remove people from any group boards you’ve created if you do not want them to be collaborators anymore.

  • Log into your Pinterest account, then click on your profile picture in the top-right corner to open your profile
  • Click a group board to open it
  • Click the profile pictures at the top of the page, below the board name
  • Click Remove next to the collaborator you want to remove
  • Click Remove to confirm
  • Open the Pinterest app on your device
  • Log in to your account, then tap your profile picture in the bottom-right corner of your screen to open your saved tab
  • Tap a group board to open it
  • Tap the profile pictures at the top of the screen, below the board name
  • Tap  the x icon next to the collaborator you want to remove
  • Tap Remove to confirm
  • Open the Pinterest app on your device
  • Log in to your account, then tap your profile picture in the bottom-right corner of your screen to open your saved tab
  • Tap a group board to open it
  • Tap the profile pictures at the top of the screen, below the board name
  • Tap  the x icon next to the collaborator you want to remove
  • Tap Remove to confirm
