good evening friend. let's talk about the the SB Pulling Tool (one of the s-series pulling tools) in Slickline Operations 🔧 In slickline operations, efficiency and precision are key to successful well interventions. One of the essential tools used is the SB Pulling Tool, designed to engage and retrieve down-hole devices such as plugs, stops, and flow controls ect. The "SB" stands for (#Shear #Block #pulling #tool), which reflects its operating mechanism. The tool is run into the well on slickline, latched onto the fish neck of the device, and released by applying a downward jarring action that shears the pin, allowing safe retrieval of the tool in a case were the device down hole could not be retrieve. it is also very easy to re-pin & release from fished/pulled devices with the right pinning tool & releasing tool.
