Spare a thought for the US Senate this week. An uncertain economy, the situation in the Middle East, and an AI race moving faster than the policy meant to govern it. CLARITY was supposed to be the easy one. It isn't. Majority Leader Thune says the Senate is unlikely to pass the bill before the August recess, and prediction markets have cut its odds of passing this year below 30%. The CLARITY Act sets a real-time interdiction standard regardless of when, or if, the Senate gets there: https://buff.ly/Itgt4wo

Taler, the neutral infrastructure for managed onchain capital, treats security as an ongoing job, not a one-time audit. Taler runs continuous onchain monitoring through Hypernative, layered across three levels: ✔️ built-in threat detection on every watchlisted address ✔️ protocol-level monitoring across shared infrastructure and treasury ✔️ per-vault monitoring tuned to a specific vault's contract set, starting with TLO. The built-in layer alone catches attacker funding and malicious contract deployment before exploitation, detects attacks in real time, scores unusual contracts for maliciousness, and flags addresses tied to OFAC sanctions, blacklists, or mixers, independent of any rule Taler configures. The result is eyes on protocol activity around the clock, not a report after the fact. Glad to have Taler building on Hypernative as the vault lineup grows.

Drift lost roughly $285M on Solana, and there was no smart contract bug. In our recent webinar, Hypernative Co-Founder and CTO Dan Caspi walked through how attackers harvested signatures through social engineering, used governance to list a fabricated collateral, then made 31 withdrawals against it. The timelock was set to instant, so there was no delay to interrupt the sequence. Every contract behaved as designed. Dan's point: real-time monitoring would have flagged a zero-liquidity collateral and the governance changes that enabled it, the moment they landed. Watch the full breakdown: https://buff.ly/lqqkvfR

The hype around tokenization is real. And so are the threats. We did a whole session on it, and it is now available on demand: https://lnkd.in/eNfqqRuN

This was an odd story I read ... a few years ago, hijacking a CEO's account meant pumping a memecoin or firing off some expletives before the account got frozen. Last week, whoever took over Brian Chesky's X handle used it to post a calm, AI-generated thread on why buildings and bonds belong onchain. The post even referenced the recently launched Robinhood chain (much hype). "tokenization narrative has gone mainstream!" ... bullish for crypto, right? Chesky got his account back and told his new crypto followers he'd be "a disappointing follow." 🤣 So, what's the reality about RWA tokenization? Is it happening (yes)? How should it be implemented (carefully)? On July 23 Hypernative is hosting our monthly webinar on how to secure tokenized asset infrastructure for institutions ... join us! Say hello to Near Privman, who joins Hypernative as Principal Software Engineer. Near brings more than 20 years of experience across software engineering and engineering leadership, from seed-stage startups to large-scale production systems at Google. His career has stayed close to two problems: building for adversarial conditions at scale, and getting machine learning out of the lab and into production. At Supersonic, acquired by ironSource, he headed ad ranking, fraud prevention, and competitive analysis. At Google, he led the Play team responsible for developer identity and account management, the systems that decide who gets to publish to billions of Android users. In between, he led the consumer side of Google Duplex, bringing Google's phone-call AI into Assistant, Search, and Maps, and was embedded by Google at Klara Healthcare to build ML teams and roadmaps from scratch. Most recently he was Head of Engineering at Encord, shipping production computer vision systems for Physical AI and rebuilding the team's own workflows around agentic pipelines while staying hands-on in the code. He is also a former founder and CTO, and has spent 15 years advising entrepreneurs and angel investors on product discovery, fundraising, and hiring. At Hypernative, Near will apply that background in adversarial systems and production ML to the detection infrastructure the platform runs across 75+ blockchains. 📣 We're hiring across sales, engineering, and customer success, remote and on-site.  Explore open roles here: https://buff.ly/f9I1B5t

Crypto's transparency is usually framed as the problem. Gal Sagie explains why it is also the solution. The Future of Crypto Compliance with Henri Arslanian. We have recently published a playbook for leveraging this radical transparency for security, breaking down how modern attacks actually unfold, what early warning signals look like in practice, and how leading teams are evolving beyond audits and alerts to protect real value at scale. Say hello to Yansi C., who joins Hypernative as Customer Success Manager, APAC. Yansi brings eight years of experience across product management and customer-facing roles in Web3, cloud, and enterprise AI. Her work has moved between product strategy and customer-side execution: from building Bitcoin DeFi products at Core DAO, where she helped deliver institutional staking solutions, to driving enterprise adoption across AWS and Google Cloud partner ecosystems in Asia, and most recently leading enterprise product initiatives at BTSE. That combination gives her a practical understanding of where technical deployments stall: the gap between what a platform can do and what a team is operationally ready to absorb. Having worked that problem from both the product and customer sides, she brings a grounded view of what adoption actually requires. At Hypernative, Yansi will lead customer success across APAC, working with protocols, exchanges, custodians, and Web3 teams as they build out their security programs. 📣 We're hiring across sales, engineering, and customer success, remote and on-site. As part of growing my Professional Services team at Hypernative, I'm opening two new roles. More to come. Technical Trainer (Israel) >> for someone who can take a fast-moving security platform and make it click, whether the room is full of analysts or executives. Security Specialist (US, remote) >> for someone comfortable on the customer's side of the table: assessing crypto risk, advising on how to close it, and staying hands-on while doing it. Both roles work directly with the largest protocols, exchanges and financial institutions in the space. Crypto native, or deep enough in it to hold your own? Links in the comments (or just DM me).
