Punjab is an unusual state; so naturally the elections here are also as unusual. Cash transfers for women which worked in other states like Maharashtra & Karnataka may not be enough in Punjab. The Reason? Our Co founder Naresh Arora decodes the reasons in this article👇🏻 Article: https://lnkd.in/gP-V95Su

Is Visibility the Strategy? I’ve been designing political communication for years now. Recently, while researching for a campaign, I went back and watched speeches from fifteen, twenty years ago. Within minutes, I found myself switching the playback speed to 2x. Then I looked at political communication today. Prime Minister Modi transformed Indian political messaging into something visual, immediate, and iconic. President Trump rewrote the rules entirely by throwing out the rulebook, leaning into repetition, provocation, and constant media disruption. And now, every major campaign globally follows a similar pattern. Shorter. Punchier. Less room for nuance. More emphasis on the memorable phrase. Visual composition matters as much as the argument does. This is not just a stylistic shift, something systemic has changed. Which makes me ask: -Is this evolution natural? -Evolution is inevitable. But the deeper thought is this: Are algorithms built around how we are naturally evolving as communicators? Or are we evolving according to how algorithms are training us to communicate? Platforms have created invisible hierarchies for what survives and what doesn’t. Content that is instantly graspable, emotionally resonant, and designed for rapid sharing gets amplified. Nuance gets buried. So communicators adapt. Politicians adapt. The entire ecosystem adapts. I adapt too. I design within these constraints. Every message gets evaluated through new filters: -Will this stop the scroll? -Will this clip travel independently? But simultaneously, I’m working hard for the actual substance. The real information voters need. The message that shouldn’t disappear just because it is harder to make viral. That tension defines modern political communication. How do you maintain effectiveness within algorithmic constraints without reducing real information to mere visibility? Because what’s happening isn’t neutral. Platform mechanics are not just distributing political messages. They are actively reshaping what politics becomes. SO the real question is: Are we aware of this loop? And more importantly: Can we design with intention within it? What are your thoughts ??
