Can a rug change the way you feel? Not by itself. But in the right space, it can become part of an experience. That was the idea behind our collaboration with tulåh Clinical Wellness From The Sonorium, a sanctuary for sound, stillness, and meditation, to thoughtfully designed gathering spaces, handcrafted Jaipur Rugs became quiet companions in every corner. Bringing warmth, texture, and a sense of grounding, each rug helped shape an environment where people could slow down, reconnect, and simply be. Handwoven by our artisans, every piece carried more than craftsmanship. It carried intention, patience, and the human touch behind every knot. At Jaipur Rugs, we believe handmade design isn't just about decorating a space. It's about influencing how a space is experienced. Collaborations like these remind us that craft has the power to support wellbeing, evoke emotion, and become part of the stories people take home with them. #JaipurRugs #tulåhlife #WellnessDesign #Craftsmanship #Handmade #InteriorDesign #MindfulLiving #DesignCollaboration #IndianCraft #DesignWithPurpose

About us
Jaipur Rugs is a family business built on the fundamental principal of conserving ancestral know-how and connecting rural craftsmanship with global consumers, in a manner that spreads kindness and benefits all our stakeholders. It uses the age-old art of handmade carpets as a tool to bring prosperity to 40,000 rural artisans of which 80% are women. Founded in 1978 by Nand Kishore Chaudhary with two looms, it now has over 7000 looms and sells in over 60 countries. Today the company creates contemporary works of art by collaborating with creative talents capable of showcasing this ancestral craft with a new vision. Our business combines the pursuit of profit with the spreading of kindness in a way that benefits all of our stakeholders: our consumers and their families, the artisans and their families, our employees, our suppliers, the buyers and channels we work with. Founder Nand Kishore Chaudhary inculcated in us a bedrock of values that combines kindness as our default demeanor, compassion for those around us, and the humility that everyone deserves dignity. This means that Jaipur Rugs will work with all those that stand for these values and it drives us as an organization to work with and tap into the creative capacity of those in society that are disadvantaged or rejected. With their help, we create the most distinct design of the highest quality, and are also able to capture the blessings of the disadvantaged such as the artisans and their families. This blessing derives from their passion and devoted labour as they receive the opportunity to grow their fortunes, self-worth and pride-and which then transform into our products. As a result, a Jaipur Rugs customer will receive the most beautiful, highest quality design together with the blessing of an artisan’s family. With this competitive advantage, we aspire to become the leader in our trade and serve as the catalyst for how our industry creates both economic and humanitarian benefit for all stakeholders.

Every collaboration leaves us with a new way of looking at craft. With 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞, Neeraj Patel invited us to reimagine the language of hand knotting. Exposed structures, varying pile heights, intentional gaps and cascading fringes challenged familiar techniques, asking our artisans to explore new possibilities while staying rooted in the craftsmanship they have inherited over generations. What made this collaboration meaningful wasn't just the final work. It was the process. The conversations, the experimentation and the shared willingness to let contemporary ideas and traditional craft shape one another. The exhibition at Nature Morte may have come to a close, but we hope the conversations it sparked continue. Conversations about the future of craft, the value of collaboration and the belief that tradition doesn't stand still. It evolves with every new perspective it embraces. At Jaipur Rugs, we believe the most enduring creations are born when artistic curiosity and generational craftsmanship come together, creating work that honours tradition while expanding its possibilities. #JaipurRugs #NeerajPatel #ExposedSpine #ContemporaryCraft #TextileArt #Craftsmanship #DesignCollaboration

A meeting of two legacies, united by craftsmanship and innovation.🤝
Proud to welcome 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀-𝗕𝗲𝗻𝘇 Germany Innovation team to 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝘂𝗴𝘀 as part of their 140 Years of Innovation global journey. Being chosen as one of their 140 destinations worldwide was a proud moment for us. It was a pleasure hosting the team and celebrating this remarkable milestone together. When the precision of Mercedes-Benz meets the craftsmanship of Jaipur Rugs, luxury finds a common language. Congratulations to 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀-𝗕𝗲𝗻𝘇 on 140 years of excellence and innovation. #MercedesBenz #JaipurRugs #Luxury #Innovation #Craftsmanship

There are moments when craft does more than preserve tradition. It opens new possibilities. Our collaboration with artist 𝙉𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙟 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡 for Exposed Spine, recently exhibited at Nature Morte , New Delhi, explored exactly that- transforming architectural lines into monumental textile works through the craft of hand-knotting. With exposed structures, varied pile heights and intentional gaps in the woven surface, these works challenged the conventional idea of what a rug can be, existing somewhere between architecture, sculpture and textile. At Jaipur Rugs, collaborations like these are never just about bringing an artist's vision to life. They are about creating a dialogue where contemporary ideas and generations of craftsmanship come together to shape something entirely new. Because the most meaningful collaborations don't just create beautiful work- they expand what's possible for craft itself. #JaipurRugs #NeerajPatel #ContemporaryCraft #TextileArt #DesignCollaboration #Craftsmanship

Time is often measured in minutes, days and years. Art asks us to experience it differently. "Shapes of Time," curated by Neeraja Poddar, brings together a group of contemporary artists whose works explore time through memory, repetition, transformation, creation and dissolution. Moving between the deeply personal and the historical, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on how time is shaped by our bodies, our surroundings and our shared histories. Featuring works by artists including Martand Khosla, Thukral and Tagra, L. N. Tallur, Remen Chopra, Manisha Parekh, Vibha Galhotra and others, the exhibition offers multiple perspectives on one of the most universal human experiences. On view until June 28 at Nature Morte, Dhan Mill. We look forward to welcoming you. 📍 Nature Morte, Dhan Mill, New Delhi 🗓️ Tuesday to Sunday (Closed Mondays) 🕚 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM #India #Art #Exhibition #Creativity #History #Time

Some founders build businesses. Some create impact. And then there are the rare few, like Nand Kishore Chaudhary (NKC), who foster a sense of belonging. His journey has never been only about rugs. It has always been about people, dignity, and purpose. This Founder's Day, we want to celebrate not just the visionary the world admires, but the human being his people deeply cherish. So we asked one simple question: “What is one word to describe your founder?” What followed was something truly special. Voices from every corner of the Jaipur Rugs family came together, each carrying their own memories, experiences, and heartfelt admiration. Different words, different stories, but one shared emotion: gratitude. Through heartfelt memories shared by his family, we also get to witness the quieter side of him, that is, the warmth, simplicity, humility, and compassion that often exist beyond the spotlight. The moments that remind us why his leadership feels deeply personal to so many. Because he didn’t just build a company, he built a legacy woven with trust, humanity, and heart. Happy Founder's Day to the visionary who continues to inspire generations. One life, one story, and one thread at a time. #FoundersDay #Leadership #Legacy #PeopleFirst #JaipurRugs

“𝐀 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭” This line is from a letter written by one of our customers, Margaret Duncan from Melbourne, to our artisans in Manpura, Anita ji and Tannu ji, in appreciation of their Dil-khush (Happy Heart) rug which was a part of the Manchaha carpets. The Manchaha creation gives our artisans the creative freedom to weave their own designs. When feedback is taken seriously, read with care and shared back with the makers, it completes the circle of creation, i.e. it tells the artisans that their work has been seen, felt and valued. For them these are not just words of appreciation but an affirmation that their creation has touched a life, crossed boundaries and has found a space in someone’s everyday life. They begin to see themselves as artists whose work evokes emotion, builds relationships and carries stories. This is why every comment matters. It builds a bridge of belonging between the weaver and the end consumer. Kavita Chaudhary Jaipur Rugs Jaipur Rugs Foundation #manchaha #handwovenstories #artisanmade

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women whose hands don’t just weave rugs, they weave traditions, futures, and generations of artistry. At Jaipur Rugs, many of our artisans are mothers. Creators. Teachers. Dreamers. The quiet force behind every knot and every home they touch. Their craft carries warmth far beyond the loom into spaces across the world. To the mothers who inspire through resilience and create with heart, thank you for weaving beauty into our lives every single day. #MothersDay #JaipurRugs #HandmadeWithLove #WomenArtisans #Craftsmanship #MadeInIndia #LuxuryInteriors #ArtisanMade #DesignWithPurpose
