We're proud to continue our Vibe Movers series with Episode 3, celebrating the first Indian fencer to qualify for the Olympic Games. Bhavani Devi picked up a sabre in school and never looked back. She went on to become the first Indian to win gold at the Commonwealth Fencing Championships and the first Indian to win an individual medal at the Asian Fencing Championships after defeating a reigning World Champion to get there. She moved countries to train. She competed at the Tokyo Olympics in the middle of a pandemic. Every point, earned the hard way. She never stopped moving towards something bigger. Numeros Motors today handed over customised Numeros Diplos electric two-wheelers to the Bengaluru City Police. The ceremony, held at the Commissioner's Office on Tuesday, was attended by Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Mr. Seemanth Kumar Singh, Mr. Karthik Reddy, DIG and Jt. CP, Traffic, and other senior officials, marking an important step towards integrating purpose-built electric two-wheelers into urban law enforcement. The Numeros electric scooters will be deployed at traffic police stations to strengthen on-ground patrolling, ensure faster response during congestion, and enhance road safety management. Each Diplos is equipped with a public address system, siren, beacon lights, eagle-eye lights, mobile data terminal holders, utility boxes and helmets. Numeros Diplos features a strong chassis, a robust design built for strength and utility, a longer wheelbase, and dual disc brakes for superior control.
