I know your doctor's receptionist's lunch order. Not because I'm a stalker. Because I've spent 400+ hours in clinic waiting rooms this year. You start noticing things. Like the uncle who shows up 2 hours early "just in case" and then gets annoyed when there's a wait. Bhai, you created the wait. Or the aunty who calls her husband, her daughter, her neighbour, and possibly her CA to give live queue updates. "Abhi 7 log hain mere aage. Haan, wahi uncle bhi hai jo hamesha aata hai." Or the kid who has memorized every poster on the wall and is now reading the doctor's MBBS certificate out loud like it's a bedtime story. Or the guy who walked in after you but somehow got called before you and now you're questioning everything you know about fairness, democracy, and the queue system. And then there's me. Sitting in the corner. Counting ceiling tiles. Watching all of this. Building a startup because of all of this. Here's something nobody talks about though. Indian clinics are the only place on earth where the customer shows up on time and the business has absolutely no idea when the service will start. No updates. No queue number. No ETA. Just "baith jaiye, bula lenge." That sentence has caused more trust issues than any relationship ever could. So we're building Opsyfy. A system where clinics don't have to chase patients. Patients don't have to sit and wonder. The queue manages itself. Waitlisted patients get notified on WhatsApp automatically when a slot opens up. No phone calls. No chaos. No "aap kab aaoge" calls from the receptionist. You can see how it works at opsyfy.in It's a 30 second scroll. I promise it's shorter than your last clinic wait. But before we build more, I genuinely want to know. What's your most absurd clinic waiting room moment? I'll go first. I once waited so long that my phone died, I borrowed a charger from the receptionist, charged it back to full, and I still hadn't been called. My phone had a full life cycle before my appointment started. Drop yours below. Seriously. Every comment on this post goes straight into our product roadmap. The stories that haunt me the most will probably become features. And if you're a doctor or run a clinic, I want to hear your side too. What breaks every single day? What do you wish someone would just fix already? This post is my research. You're my focus group. The comments section is my boardroom. Let's hear it. #IndianHealthcare #HealthTech #ClinicOps #PatientExperience #DigitalHealth #StartupIndia #BuildingInPublic #WaitingRoomStories #Opsyfy
