With FIFA World Cup 2026 fever at its peak, we brought the game to Orient Electric with Football Fever 2026. The celebrations included a vibrant Jersey Day, a pan-India Football Trivia Challenge, and an Inter-Department Foosball Championship at our Head Office, where 10 teams battled it out in a knockout format. Congratulations to the Marketing team for lifting the trophy, and Switchgear & Wires team for finishing as runners-up! Football Fever 2026 celebrated the spirit of the game by bringing colleagues together through teamwork, healthy competition and a shared spirit of participation.

We are delighted to share that our Hyderabad and Faridabad plants have received Platinum and Gold awards, respectively, at the CII IQ National 5S Excellence Competition. By reimagining shop floor layouts, optimising material flow, and making better use of space, our teams have made our manufacturing operations more efficient, agile, and future-ready. These improvements reinforce our commitment to operational excellence and enable us to deliver greater quality and value to our customers. We recently invited our colleagues and their children at our Faridabad plant for a Think Tank Challenge - an initiative designed to hear directly from the next generation of consumers and innovators. The young participants brought curiosity, imagination and fresh thinking to the table, giving us a peek into the expectations and trends that will shape the products of tomorrow. For our engineering teams, it was reverse mentoring at its best – a chance to listen to young perspectives, challenge assumptions, and draw inspiration from the people who could become our future customers. The day also included an interaction with our MD & CEO, Mr Ravindra Singh Negi, along with a tour of the factory floors, giving them a first-hand look at how our products are designed and manufactured. The ideas and insights from the Think Tank Challenge will now be shared with our product and engineering teams. Each one offers a fresh lens on how the next generation imagines technology, design and everyday living. There is power in a room full of women choosing to own their stories. This thought shaped our latest SheRise session at Orient Electric. Led by our President, Avani Birla, the session brought together the women of Orient to reflect on what it truly means to own who you are at work and beyond it. The conversation brought out personal stories, thoughtful reflections and moments that stayed with everyone in the room. As part of the session, participants were invited to write down their dreams and aspirations on cards, turning a simple activity into a meaningful moment of self-expression. This International Yoga Day brought a refreshing shift to the usual office routine at Orient Electric.
