Big conversations with real impact. 🎥 🎶 Last month, our team in Japan had the pleasure of hosting two leading voices in hearing care and accessibility: Dr. Koichiro Wasano – Department Head of Otorhinolaryngology at Tokai University Hospital, renowned for his clinical audiology research on the hearing-dementia link Prof. Hideki Yoshioka 吉岡英樹 - Lecturer at Tokyo University of Technology and founder of the "Voices for All" project driving Auracast™ implementation in Japan. Together, we explored the future of Japanese audiology, patient-centered innovation, and how advanced hearing technology can continue to elevate quality of life. We also brought Auracast™ to life at a movie theater in Nagoya, where guests experienced firsthand how audio can be streamed directly to Auracast-ready hearing aids and devices. A big thank you to Dr. Wasano, Dr. Yoshioka, and our event partner Riken Sangyo for helping us drive accessibility forward and bring more people closer through sound.

Snow Queen, but make it inclusive ❄️ Our Lead GA Research Scientist, Miguel Angel Aranda De Toro, Ph.D. experienced Auracast live at Moesgaard Museum's open-air theatre—where audiences, including people with hearing aids and people with low vision, tuned in seamlessly. Auracast broadcast audio is a promise of inclusion. And we're so glad to see more and more spaces implementing Auracast accessible audio technology. Turning hearing aids into high fashion. Together with HAN KJØBENHAVN and NoA | &Co. , we reimagined what hearing aids can represent on one of Europe’s most influential runways: Copenhagen Fashion Week 2025. Backstage, we fitted hearing aids on models with hearing loss—selected deliberately to tell a deeper story. We're proud to receive two Creative Circle Awards for this event: 🥇 Gold – Creative Partnerships 🥈 Silver – Creative Audio Design This partnership helped us challenge perceptions around hearing loss and hearing aids. ✨ Sometimes the smallest technology can open up the biggest parts of life. "My parents are from Tanzania, and I arrived in Denmark when I was 4 years old. That’s when my hearing loss was discovered. It was suggested by doctors that I could get an operation, but my father and his Danish girlfriend––now wife––said no, and that was the end of it. I’m still not sure why it was like that. I think they felt ashamed about it. Maybe they were worried that I’d get picked on in school. When I was around 17, I had my first serious boyfriend, and he noticed my hearing problems. I knew about it from check-ups as a child, but that was the first time I said it out loud to someone outside the family. Still, there was no way I was going to be wearing hearing going into my 20’s. That would’ve been much too embarrassing. In hindsight, it’s obviously absurd that I didn’t get any aid. It held me back so greatly. I never went to any bars; I couldn’t hear a word of what people were saying, so I only went to dance clubs. I was lost everywhere else. I owe it to my daughter for pushing me towards getting help. ‘You can’t hear me?’ she said. ‘You don’t answer me? Isn’t it frustrating for you as well?’ Getting hearing aid has transformed my life. My social life has become so much greater. Now I actually enjoy going out to a restaurant. I even enjoy going on work seminars. Exceptional sound, equally experienced 🎶🎤🌟 In a cozy Seoul jazz club, we hosted Korea’s first (!) live Auracast™ broadcast audio event with Ampetronic. We transformed a classic night of live music into an inclusive, shared listening experience. With an Auracast™ transmitter in the venue, guests tuned in directly through their own compatible hearing aids, earbuds, or headsets. Everyone enjoyed front‑row sound from any seat. The evening featured: · a powerful performance from K‑pop band Big Ocean, the first hard‑of‑hearing K-pop band in South Korea · an intimate jazz set in true Seoul club style · a panel conversation on inclusion, representation, and everyday accessibility in live music Accessibility should be standard — and Auracast™ broadcast audio helps make that a reality.
