It does not reject the Trinity but returns to the Bible's own language and categories to recover a model that is older, simpler, and more faithful to the biblical text than the post-Nicene doctrine of three co-equal, co-eternal persons sharing one divine essence. The paper is neither anti-Trinitarian nor a concession to Islam or Unitarianism. It affirms the full deity of Christ, the pre-existence of the Word, and the personhood of the Spirit. It challenges only the unbiblical philosophical additions, eternal generation, three hypostases, one ousia, that entered Christianity through Greek metaphysics and imperial councils.
