A utilização da alteplase como tratamento padrão de acidente vascular cerebral isquêmico agudo te... more A utilização da alteplase como tratamento padrão de acidente vascular cerebral isquêmico agudo tem evidenciado capacidade de reverter danos neurológicos e acometimento na perfusão. Entretanto, tal terapêutica apresenta riscos, como hemorragia intracraniana. Nesse sentido, outras terapias antitrombóticas têm sido estudadas como possíveis recursos na redução de riscos, como o uso de tenecteplase e o uso da alteplase associada sulfonato IIA de tanshinona sódica. Ademais, esse tratamento padrão está atrelado a maiores riscos de hemorragia intracraniana em indivíduos com COVID-19, enquanto aos que fazem uso de anticoagulantes orais antagonistas da vitamina k não apresentaram risco significativamente maior da hemorragia. Portanto, trata-se de uma revisão de literatura embasada nas publicações nos últimos 10 anos encontrados nas bases de dados PUBMED e BVS com os descritores ischemic stroke, fibrinolytic agents; therapeutics; administration, intravenous. This dissertation is structured into seven chapters, whose summary is presented below: I Introduc... more This dissertation is structured into seven chapters, whose summary is presented below: I Introduction: introduces the topic of this dissertation by briefly presenting the inherent challenges of developing applications that efficiently explore the performance of heterogeneous servers, and introduces the main objective, which is to efficiently schedule irregular workloads among heterogeneous devices. Section 1.2 presents the scientific motivation and the contribution. II Heterogeneous Servers: this chapter presents the concept of an heterogeneous server, introduces the NUMA 6 architecture in the cluster node and briefly introduces how the accelerators operate in distributed memory. This chapter also presents the current multicore and many-core devices and describes their features. III Scheduling Data and Workloads: this chapter describes the state of the art on the inherent complexity of scheduling data and workloads on heterogeneous platforms. This chapter also presents a list of key frameworks to aid the scheduling in the homogeneous and heterogeneous platforms. IV Scientific Workloads: presents and describes the type of scientific workloads that this work addresses and presents the selected scientific case study for this dissertation. V An Adaptive Scheduler for an Heterogeneous Server: introduces and describes the implemented dynamic adaptive heterogeneous scheduler and its key features to support irregular workloads. VI Experimental results and discussion: presents and describes the selected testbed to validate the efficiency of the scheduler, and discusses the experimental performance results. VII Conclusions: concludes the dissertation with suggestions for future work.

Las medioambientales menos. El proyecto europeo Green-Car Eco-Design, realizado entre 2011 y 2013 y en el que han participado siete institutos y centros technologicos europeos, ha consistido, precisamente, en incluir esta variable medioambiental durante el proceso de diseno y desarrollo de los componentes principales del VE y aumentar, asi, el conocimiento de este impacto a lo largo de su ciclo de vida.
