Biopolymer coatings have tremendous promise in various biological applications due to their adaptability. Polymer coatings may be used to improve surface qualities to fulfill certain criteria or to include extra capabilities for various biomedical applications. This analysis focuses mostly on certain polymers for usage in coating applications as well as a variety of polymer coatings that provide enhanced functionalization. The most recent findings from relevant research have been presented on using polymer coatings on nanoparticles for biological applications. Moreover, the latest research on biopolymer coatings for improved tissue engineering and drug delivery on various substrates and nanoparticles has been reported. Additionally, the most recent scientific breakthroughs have been compiled.

The system of equations that describe the circulation issue and operating conditions is reduced to ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by using the proper similarity transformations. The Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg 45 order and the shooting approach are used to generate the numerical results. Graphs are used to show how various dimensionless limits affect the associated profiles. The results demonstrate that, in the presence of heat source/sink and porous medium characteristics, respectively, fluid velocity and heat dispersion are high in plate geometry and lower in cone geometry. Water resource challenges in China also include a lack of understanding of water conservation and water conservation, as well as major waste, pollution, and over exploitation. In order to solve the problem of inconvenient accurate calculation of pipeline head loss with complex layout, research on computer-aided design (CAD) head loss calculation method based on Plant Design Management System (PDSM) three-dimensional model is proposed. Firstly, the pressure pipe model is taken as the research object, and the straight pipe and pipe components of the calculated pipeline are classified and summarized according to the identification code of the three-dimensional model component library; Secondly, the head loss calculation formula is compiled and the corresponding logic between the calculation formula parameters and the PDSM three-dimensional model is established; Finally, the head loss of the same type of straight pipe and pipe components is calculated respectively. This calculation approach overcomes the drawbacks of the standard penstock head loss calculation method, such as the vast number of calculations required, erroneous calculation outputs, and lack of automation. Compared with the traditional calculation technology, the calculation accuracy is improved by 20%. It can calculate the pipeline head loss and local head loss synchronously, which is more accurate and simpler than the traditional calculation method.

In the integration process after filtering, using a piecewise integration method between acceleration peaks, the integration calculation is optimized to obtain the vibration displacement. No List SPIHT (NLS) and Wavelet Based Block Tree Coding (WBTC) are two enhanced algorithms of SPIHT. The WBTC algorithm works on blocks instead of pixels in SPIHT. The size of root block in WBTC varies from one step to another. This reduces the memory requirement to a great extent. NLS uses markers instead of lists used for the storage of coefficients in SPIHT. The three lists used in SPIHT to manage the significant coefficients grow exponentially with each step as more number of coefficients is tracked. Due to this feature SPIHT algorithm requires a lot of memory management and hence it is complex for hardware implementation. Automated detection of retinal area from the SLO images is a crucial task. With the invention of screening technology, the large retinal part must be imaged for better diagnosis of the retinal diseases. During the process of imaging, artifacts (eyelashes and eyelids) are come along with the retinal part. So removal of artifacts is a big challenge. In this chapter, true retinal area is extracted from the SLO image based on machine learning approach for better diagnosis of retinal diseases. To reduce the complexity of an image, the image is divided into group of pixels which is based on its compactness, colour and regional size then that group of pixels are called Superpixel. Then, classifier is used to classify the true retinal area and artifact. The results provide better performance with 96% accuracy. Comparison is performed with respect to accuracy and computational time between ANN and RBFN.
