To extract relevant information from such multiple online information sources summarization is being used. Current summarization systems produce a uniform version of summary for all users. However summaries which are generic in nature do not cater to the user's background and interests. In this paper we propose to make the summarization process user specific and present a design for generating personalized summaries of online articles that are tailored to each person's interest. The user's data available on web is used for model their background and interest. A controlled user-centered qualitative evaluation carried out on news articles of science and technology domain, indicates better user satisfaction with personalized summaries compared to generic summaries.

Non-uniform temperature distribution during microwave application is a major drawback of these processes. Intermittent application of microwave potentially reduces the impact of non-uniformity and improves energy efficiency by redistributing the temperature. However, temperature re-distribution during intermittent microwave heating has not been investigated adequately. Consequently, in this study, a coupled electromagnetic with heat and mass transfer model was developed using the finite element method embedded in COMSOL-Multyphysics software. Particularly, the temperature redistribution due to intermittent heating was investigated. A series of experiments were performed to validate the simulation. The test specimen was an apple and the temperature distribution was closely monitored by a TIC (Thermal Imaging Camera). The simulated temperature profile matched closely with thermal images obtained from experiments.

But these brakes require high power to generate actuation force and also problem of clogging is faced. This paper presents a novel methodology to improve braking quality and to tackle the problem of brake by wire system by introducing hybrid braking system. This system uses fixed radio frequency over a single channel and is based on an ultra high frequency band. This system is coupled with highly efficient pressure sensor and thermal sensor to check various parameters. Rack and pinion is used as actuation system to force the pad toward the rotor. It is highly efficient in term greater efficiency of rack and pinion over any other, quick response as well as inexpensive and easy installation. Experimentation is conducted and stimulation of hybrid braking system is done through software which shows results in favor of new proposed system.

Indeed, recent major blackout in India had vividly demonstrated that power interruptions or blackouts significantly impact the economy and society. In July 2012, disturbances cascaded through the West-North Corridor transmission system, causing widespread blackout and left 600 million customers without electricity. By nature, a power system continually experience two types of disturbances: event disturbance and load variations. Power System operators need to equip with powerful tools to examine power system stability in a timely and accurate manner. For operational purposes, power system stability analysis plays an important role in determining the system operating limits and operating guidelines. Devices like Phasor measurement Units are helping System operators in real time dynamic visualization of the grid and monitoring and assessing the dynamic stability, various applications have been implemented based on the PMUs and several are under development. This paper gives an insight into the application of PMUs in Western Grid of India.

While a short course of 16 weeks may result in comparable end of therapy responses, relapse rates are often high. A 24-week course is therefore preferable, and is expected to result in sustained virological response (SVR) rates of more than 70%. The 24-week course is especially recommended in the presence of steatosis (often associated with Genotype 3 infection), fibrosis stage two or more, high BMI and high viral load. In patients who do not achieve a rapid viral response (RVR) with combination therapy, an extended course up to 48 weeks should be considered. While not as definite as for genotype 1 patients, the presence of the CC variant of IL28b could help in the initial prognosis and the need for additional treatment, if an RVR is not achieved. The role of directly acting antiviral agents (DAA) has not been fully evaluated in treatment naïve, non-responders and relapsers in genotype 3 patients. Initial results with the cyclophilin inhibitor Debio-025 are quite encouraging. There is an urgent need for large clinical trials using DAA and host modulators in patients with G3 infection.
