Designed by Luxembourgish artist Sumo, the exclusive livery blends the artist’s creativity with GSK Stockmann's corporate identity. Today, this special aircraft spreads its wings for the very first time as it departs for Bilbao. ✈️ Continuing the expansion of our fleet with additional Embraer and Boeing 737 aircraft orders. We are pleased to announce further progress in the execution of our long-term fleet strategy, with the conversion of existing purchase rights and options into firm orders for new-generation aircraft. For our Embraer E2 fleet, we have converted purchase rights for three E190-E2 aircraft into firm orders and secured one additional purchase right, bringing Luxair’s total firm orders for the E2 to nine aircraft. The first E190-E2 is expected to join the Luxair fleet at the end of 2028. In parallel, we have converted two options for Boeing 737-10 aircraft into firm orders and secured options for two additional 737-10s. This increases Luxair’s firm order book for Boeing 737 aircraft to twelve aircraft: eight Boeing 737-8s and four Boeing 737-10s. “This agreement represents another important milestone in the execution of our long-term fleet strategy” Gilles Feith We look forward to welcoming these new-generation aircraft as we continue to shape the future of Luxair!

This weekend, we proudly welcomed our first factory-new Boeing 737-8, LX-LBC, to Luxembourg. ✈️🇱🇺 After departing from Boeing in Seattle with a technical stop in Keflavík, the aircraft made its inaugural arrival at lux-Airport on Saturday evening. This morning, it continued to Ostrava for its final preparations before returning home to enter commercial service. A significant milestone for Luxair, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our fleet renewal.

Today, we proudly inaugurated our first flight to Edinburgh, a destination long requested by our passengers. ✈️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Together with lux-Airport and Edinburgh Airport, we marked the occasion with special celebrations at both the departure gate in Luxembourg and upon arrival in Edinburgh. Passengers enjoyed the authentic sounds of Scotland thanks to bagpipe performances by Fernand Heinz from the Luxembourg Pipe Band and Conner Pratt from The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. They also received luxurious cashmere socks courtesy of Johnstons of Elgin, offering a first taste of Scottish craftsmanship.
