The increasing adoption of NGS in clinical oncology has increased our ability to identify germline alterations predisposing to cancer development as well as somatic changes enabling prescription of individualized cancer treatment and enhanced clinical trial participation. Here we summarize implementation of an NGS-based precision medicine initiative involving oncology patients from a single institution cancer center.
