In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad had an entire wall of CDs in the living room of my childhood home, and he would always play funk, blues and jazz throughout the house in the evenings and at the weekends. Especially on Sundays before he dragged us to church. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, Blonde Kings of Leon, Only By the Night SZA, Ctrl These albums single handedly walked me through some of the most difficult and transformative times of my life. KOL comforted me through my angsty high school years, Frank through my isolated uni days, and SZA through my jaded early 20s. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Recovery” Recovery helped me to release a very heavy spiritual weight. The songwriting process allowed me to understand how to wield my power in a way that was alchemical, and the act of transforming my pain into something meaningful was the ultimate gift. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's nothing I would love more than to be able to sing with any of the idols on my list - dead or alive.
