Intact non-dissociated trigeminal ganglia extend neurites only when cocultured with target tissues and not in isolation. We set out to determine if intact early age murine trigeminal ganglia extend neurites in isolation, is it the culture system involved and whether fibroblast inhibitors could actually prevent the normal outgrowth pattern. Mouse intact trigeminal ganglia before target innervation were given the choice to grow in isolation or with target tissues on three dimensional collagen gels, collagen coated platform and poly-d-lysine substrata. Cultures in this way were set up in the presence and absence of fibroblast inhibitors. Results demonstrated that; firstly, trigeminal ganglia were capable of extending neurites in isolation, Secondly, poly-d-lysine promoted extensive outgrowth of neurites, a comparable outgrowth was promoted by collagen substrata but not threedimensional collagen gels. Thirdly, inhibitors used to prevent fibroblast outgrowth radically affected the normal outgrowth pattern of neurite fascicles and morphology. Where fibroblast inhibitors were omitted, neurites grew to several hundred micrometers distance, highly branched and established intricate neurite-non-neuronal networks. Growth cones and filopodia were well developed. Additionally, widespread outgrowth occurred only where ganglia were cultured within the first five or ten minutes after removal from embryos. Lastly, outgrowth of non-neuronal nonfibroblast cells occurred only when ganglia were cultured without fibroblast inhibitors. We conclude that evaluation of in vitro axon outgrowth and directionality should be cautious.

Whitefly adult had negative correlation with gossypol glands on midrib, vein, lamina and number of hairs on lamina which is -0.118, -0.002, -0.098 and -0.032 respectively while it showed positive correlation with number of hairs midrib (0.381), vein (0.221) and length of hair (0.392). Whitefly nymph had negative correlation with gossypol glands on midrib (-0.001) and vein (0.007) while it had positive correlation with gossypol glands on lamina, number of hair on midrib, vein and lamina and length of hair which is 0.031, 0.098, 0.057, 0.207 and 0.381 respectively. Jassid adult had negative correlation with gossypol glands on midrib (-0.050) whereas it was correlated positively with gossypol glands on vein (0.448), lamina (0.321), number of hair on midrib (0.277), vein (0.051) and lamina (0.207) and length of hair (0.023). Jassid nymph was negatively correlated with gossypol glands on midrib (-0.226), vein (-0.010), lamina (-0.129), number of hairs on midrib (-0. 114) and vein (-0.160) and length of hair (-0.202) while it had positive correlation with number of hairs on lamina (0.082). Thrips had negative correlation with gossypol glands on midrib (-0.023), vein (-0.076), lamina (-0.240), number of hairs on midrib (-0.117) and vein (-0.068) and length of hair (-0.007) whereas it was correlated positively with number of hairs on lamina (0.077).

Management strategy of such a patient depends on the extent of perforation and the time interval between perforation and diagnosis. The use of a T tube to treat delayed esophageal perforation with complete resolution and no need for future definitive surgery has been less frequently described. We adapted this principle in successful management of a 73 year old patient with four days history of fever, shortness of breath, chest pain and radiological evidence of perforation.

The people of the park are using medicinal plants for various ailments and dependent on surrounding plants resources for their food, shelter, fodder, healthcare and other cultural purposes. However, encroaching industrialization and accompanying changes in their lifestyles are responsible for decrease of practice in local uses of herbs as medicine, it is, therefore worthwhile to record the natural uses of these herbs before the information is lost. For study purpose 64 informants were interviewed to find out the medicinal uses of these plants. In total 40 species of medicinal plants belonging to 18 families were recorded which are being used by inhabitants of the park, these are Carissia opaca, Cassia fistula, Mallotus phillippensis, Punica garmatum and Phyllantus emblica etc. Their medicinal uses were noted by categorizing them into major diseases. The medicinal flora identified should be conserved for present and future generations.

A sample of 200 teachers was selected from four public sector universities of Punjab .A self developed questionnaire was used to collect data. The data was analyzed by applying descriptive statistical techniques, i.e. mean and percentages. It was found that most of the academic HRM executives exhibit laissez faire leadership at their workplace. While transactional and transformational leadership was found to be at minimum extent.

Various grasses and leguminous species are indigenous to this valley and are grazed by ruminants. Leguminous plant species were characterized for carbohydrates, starch and total sugar contents in pods and leaves as well. The data obtained after analysis showed that carbohydrates ranged from 54.37 to 64.43; starch contents varied from 30.85 to 40.55 mg g -1 dry weight in leaves while it ranged from 61.65 to 69.09 and 32.55 to 36.11 mg g -1 in pods respectively. Overall values of soluble sugars range from 23.88 to 31.42 in leaves and 35.65 to 40.70 in pods in species under investigation in different pastures. Based on observation recorded for total soluble sugars estimation, it was concluded that the forage plant species studied were found to be palatable and had significant amount of those elements required for the needs of livestock reared in that specific rangeland. The results of the present investigation provide key information regarding sufficient amount of sugars in forages, which seems to be excellent. Furthermore, investigations for toxicosis, if any of sugars on grazing livestock of the range are urgently needed.

The goal of this research is to study periodic and stochastic models of data series of the monthly cumulative rainfall. Based on daily rainfall data, monthly cumulative rainfall data series was calculated. The series of rainfall is assumed to be free of trend. Periodicities of rainfall data were presented using 125 periodic components. Stochastic series of rainfall data are assumed as residues between rainfall data with periodic rainfall model. Stochastic components were calculated using the approach of autoregressive model. Stochastic Model presented in this research is using the fourth orders autoregressive model. Validation between data and the model is done by calculating the correlation coefficient. For this study, the correlation coefficient between the data and the model of the cumulative monthly rainfall is 0.9992. From the results of this study can be inferred that the model of the monthly rainfall from Purajaya station gives highly accurate approach.
