  • American Tower welcomes the Federal Communications Commission Order protecting the Trust Fund and helping ensure it is used as intended. We appreciate the FCC's action and Chairman Brendan Carr's leadership.

America's wireless infrastructure providers build the networks that power our economy, connect our communities, and support public safety. We applaud the Federal Communications Commission for standing up for a fair outcome for the companies that built the DISH 5G network. In an order today, the FCC protected the Trust Fund established for the companies that built the DISH 5G network. Ensuring these funds are preserved for legitimate claims is an important step toward protecting American businesses and the workforce behind our nation's communications networks. • We're proud to support the new Wireless Futures Program, an initiative from the Wireless Infrastructure Association Foundation that connects students with paid internships and real-world learning opportunities across the wireless and digital infrastructure ecosystem. The program helps build the next generation of professionals in engineering, business, telecommunications, spectrum management, and more. As a founding participant, American Tower is helping create pathways for emerging talent to explore careers that support our increasingly digital world. Investing in future talent is investing in the future of communications infrastructure.

  • Across Latin America, we’re seeing how access to technology can transform the way students learn and the opportunities they can pursue. Recent efforts through our Digital Communities program in Chile, Mexico, and Brazil show what’s possible when connectivity, education, and partnerships come together. In Chile, new computer labs and digital learning programs are helping students and teachers build essential skills, including early exposure to AI in the classroom. In Mexico, technology kits and teacher training are reshaping classroom experiences, bringing digital tools to students who often don’t have access at home. In Brazil, we’re expanding this impact by delivering equipment and training to public schools, benefiting students and teachers with more connected and inclusive learning environments. Across all three, one thing is clear: technology alone doesn’t transform education – how it’s used does. That’s why our approach focuses on expanding access, supporting educators, enabling meaningful learning, and driving long-term impact. At American Tower, we believe connectivity is more than infrastructure – it’s a pathway to opportunity. #AmericanTower #DigitalCommunities #DigitalInclusion #Education #LatinAmerica #Connectivity #SocialImpact

  • Creating pathways to telecom careers starts with opening more doors to technology, tools, and education. That’s why we are excited about our recent partnership with NPower, which is helping more than 1,400 young adults and military-connected individuals each year build digital skills and launch new career paths. Together, we’re working to ensure more people can thrive in today’s digital world. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ePcejUM6
