Expectations are high that the next edition will build upon the successes recorded in 2025 and further expand the Foundation's influence in Climate Change, ESG, Sustainability, artificial intelligence, health, agriculture, education, and community development. The forthcoming conference is expected to provide a stronger platform for dialogue on climate resilience, ESG integration and sustainability. The Foundation is therefore looking forward to stronger partnerships, wider collaboration, sponsorship opportunities, institutional support, technical cooperation, research partnerships, media partnerships, and increased participation from stakeholders across various sectors. Government institutions, development organizations, international agencies, academic institutions, private sector organizations, researchers, civil society groups, youth organizations, media institutions, sponsors, development partners, and volunteers are encouraged to partner with MACS Foundation in advancing its mission and supporting the 2026 Global Conference. The growing interest from stakeholders, institutions, researchers, development partners, and young professionals demonstrates the increasing relevance of Climate Change, ESG, and Sustainability within Africa's development agenda. As preparations continue, the Foundation remains committed to promoting environmental responsibility, social impact, good governance, innovation, education, research, and sustainable development. - 4 - An important aspect that has increasingly defined the identity and direction of MACS Foundation is its growing commitment to Climate Change, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), and Sustainability. These three interconnected pillars have become central to the Foundation's programs, research activities, advocacy campaigns, media engagements, institutional partnerships, and capacity-building initiatives. Throughout the 2025 Global Conference, discussions consistently emphasized the importance of climate action, environmental stewardship, social inclusion, responsible governance, institutional accountability, and sustainable development practices. Participants acknowledged that Africa's future development depends not only on addressing climate challenges but also on integrating ESG principles into governments, businesses, institutions, and communities. The MACS Climate Change Academy, the MACS Global Climate Change and Sustainability Journal, and the Transformation Tracker were all established with these priorities in mind. Together, these initiatives seek to promote climate education, ESG awareness, sustainability leadership, environmental responsibility, social impact and innovation. As MACS Foundation continues to implement projects, build capacity, conduct research, support communities, and advocate for sustainable development, Transformation Tracker Media has continued to play a complementary role by documenting and amplifying these achievements. While MACS Foundation remains actively engaged in creating impact through programs, research, advocacy, education, and community interventions, Transformation Tracker Media has become the platform through which these stories of transformation reach wider audiences. The media platform has consistently showcased the importance, relevance, and impact of the Foundation's work to local, national, and international audiences. Through documentaries, media reports, interviews, publications, and digital storytelling, Transformation Tracker Media continues to demonstrate that development work must not only be implemented but also properly documented and communicated. The relationship between the two institutions has created a model in which action and visibility work together to inspire participation, support, accountability, and collaboration. As the Foundation reflects on the successes of 2025, attention is gradually shifting toward the forthcoming 2026 MACS Global Conference. Preparatory activities are already underway, and discussions concerning the conference theme, keynote speakers, technical sessions, awards, exhibitions, partnerships, and special activities are progressing.

- 3 - Among the published papers were: • Artificial Intelligence Adoption and Global, African, and Nigerian Perspectives on Climate-Smart Agriculture and Health Integration. • Human Capacity for AI in Africa: Impact of Environment, Agriculture, and Health Sectors – A Nigeria Case Study. • Counselling for Climate Change Adaptation Awareness and Preventive Health. • Integrating Digital Counselling Solutions for Mental Health and Climate Resilience. • Biomass Utilization and Agricultural Residues for Sustainable Energy Production. • Climate Adaptation and Heritage Conservation Strategies. • Climate-Induced Resource Conflict and Rural Displacement. • Protecting Urban Canopy through Community Stewardship and Policy Enforcement. The conference also featured an important keynote presentation delivered by Ambassador David AllGreen Fiaase titled “AI-Driven Agroforestry Designs that Improve Air Quality and Community Health.” His presentation demonstrated how artificial intelligence can be integrated with environmental solutions to improve ecosystems, strengthen resilience, improve air quality, and enhance public health outcomes. Recognition and appreciation formed another important aspect of the conference. Distinguished personalities whose work continues to advance climate action, environmental governance, sustainable development, and public service were honored for their contributions. Ambassador David AllGreen Fiaase received recognition as a Climate Advocate, Creative Visionary, and Change Catalyst in Africa for his pioneering efforts in climate advocacy and environmental education. Dr. Umar Ibrahim Majalam was honored with the MACS Foundation Honorary Impact Leadership Award and Yobe State Patron Appointment for his contributions to environmental finance, agriculture, and public service. Hon. Terseer Ugbor was recognized for his commitment to climate governance, sustainable development policy, environmental education, and legislative support for environmental reforms. Beyond the presentations, awards, and technical sessions, the conference created opportunities for networking, partnership building, and collaboration. Representatives from government institutions, development agencies, civil society organizations, academic institutions, media organizations, and private sector bodies delivered goodwill messages and expressed support for the Foundation's vision and programs. More than four hundred participants from over ten countries participated in the conference, demonstrating the growing influence and international reach of the Foundation's work. - 2 - Throughout the conference, discussions focused extensively on the relationship between climate change, agriculture, health, environmental governance, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Experts examined how AI can support climate adaptation, strengthen agricultural productivity, improve healthcare systems, enhance environmental monitoring, and contribute to evidence-based policymaking. One of the most significant achievements recorded during the conference was the official launch of three major initiatives that have continued to define the Foundation's work and future direction. The first was the establishment of the MACS Climate Change Academy (MCCA), an innovative African-focused learning platform designed to develop the next generation of climate leaders, sustainability advocates, researchers, and environmental ambassadors. Through its thematic cohorts, practical projects, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative learning approach, the Academy seeks to equip young people and professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to address climate challenges within their communities. The second major milestone was the launch of the MACS Global Climate Change and Sustainability Journal (MGCCSJ). The peer-reviewed publication, carrying ISSN 3121-6277, was introduced as a platform for interdisciplinary research and scholarly contributions on climate change, sustainability, agriculture, health, artificial intelligence, environmental governance, and sustainable development. The journal provides researchers, policymakers, academics, and practitioners with an opportunity to contribute knowledge capable of influencing both policy and practice. The third landmark initiative was the unveiling of the Transformation Tracker, a media and accountability platform established to document, monitor, and showcase development interventions, community transformation, and positive impact across various sectors. The platform was designed to bridge the gap between implementation and visibility, ensuring that development stories are documented, measured, and shared with broader audiences. Several technical papers were presented during the conference and subsequently published in the maiden edition of the MACS Global Climate Change and Sustainability Journal. FROM IMPACT TO INSPIRATION: REFLECTING ON THE 2025 GLOBAL CONFERENCE AND LOOKING AHEAD TO THE 2026 GLOBAL CONFERENCE Today, as the world continues to confront the growing realities of climate change, environmental degradation, food insecurity, public health challenges, rapid technological advancement, and the increasing influence of artificial intelligence, institutions committed to sustainable solutions have become more important than ever before. Across Africa and beyond, the need for organizations that can bridge knowledge, innovation, policy, advocacy, and practical action continues to grow. Among such organizations, MACS Foundation has steadily emerged as a platform dedicated to climate action, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), sustainability, education, research, advocacy, innovation, and community impact and transformation. Guided by its vision of creating a healthier, greener, and more sustainable future, the Foundation has continued to provide leadership in promoting solutions that address environmental, social, and developmental challenges facing communities. Under the theme, “Climate Change: An Integrated Approach to Agriculture and Health Using Artificial Intelligence,” the conference brought together policymakers, academics, researchers, development practitioners, civil society organizations, students, youth leaders, volunteers, environmental advocates, development partners, and sustainability experts from Nigeria, Africa, and other parts of the world. The hybrid nature of the conference enabled participants to attend physically and virtually, thereby expanding the reach and impact of the event. MACS FOUNDATION  INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2026 Today, we join the global community in commemorating International Women’s Day 2026 under the theme “ Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls.” At MACS Foundation, we recognize that despite decades of advocacy and progress, women and girls around the world still face systemic barriers that prevent them from enjoying equal rights and opportunities. Globally, women hold only about 64 percent of the legal rights that men enjoy, leaving millions disadvantaged in critical areas such as work, finance, safety, family, property ownership, mobility, business participation, and retirement security. This year’s theme is a powerful reminder that the fight for equality must move beyond promises to concrete action. Laws, policies, and social systems must actively protect and empower women and girls while dismantling harmful practices, discriminatory legislation, and social norms that undermine their dignity and potential.
