One mistake many people make is using their primary bank card for every online payment. While many websites are secure, it's still a good habit to limit where your main card details are stored. That's where a virtual card comes in. It gives you an extra layer of protection while making it easier to manage subscriptions and international payments. Small habits like this can go a long way in helping you stay safer online. ➕ Follow us for more smart money tips, payment insights, and practical financial advice #VirtualCard #Fintech #FinancialLiteracy #MoneyTips #Vepay

Today marks a very special milestone for us at Vepay. Exactly one year ago, on July 17, 2025, we launched Vepay to the public. Looking back, it's been a year filled with lessons, challenges, growth, and countless moments we're incredibly proud of. The idea behind Vepay didn't begin in 2025. It started much earlier in 2019, when I personally experienced the frustration of making a cross-border payment. After facing that same challenge repeatedly over the years, we finally built the solution we wished existed, and that solution became Vepay. What started as a solution to my own problem has grown into a platform trusted by users across three countries for their everyday cross-border payment needs. Over the past year, we've had the opportunity to share our vision at events including the Africa Tech Summit in Nairobi, Lagos Business School, Babcock University, and many others, introducing more people to a simpler, faster, and more affordable way to make international payments. Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without our customers. Because you chose Vepay, together we've processed over ₦220 million in payment across 14,000+ transactions. Every transaction, every referral, every piece of feedback, and every recommendation has helped shape the company we're building today. We’re working towards even greater years and decades ahead, with an expansion into more countries, making cross-border payments seamlessly available and effortlessly affordable. www.vepayhq.com
