In safety-critical applications, cable assemblies do far more than transmit power or data. They must withstand mechanical stress, harsh environments and repeated use, without compromising performance when it matters most. That's why cable assembly design requires more than selecting the right components. It requires engineering the complete interconnection solution. Discover how we approached this challenge in our whitepaper on engineered cable assemblies for demanding hydraulic rescue shoring systems. 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿: https://lnkd.in/eRzyN686

Machine vision systems continue to become faster, more compact and more integrated into industrial environments. At the same time, the surrounding hardware plays an increasingly important role in 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. Enclosure design influences more than environmental protection alone. It can affect optical alignment, maintenance efficiency, system integration and ultimately overall uptime on the production floor. Especially in applications where space is limited and environmental conditions are demanding. That’s why more machine vision systems are moving away from generic housings towards 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. We recently explored this topic further in our latest whitepaper on machine vision enclosures: https://lnkd.in/e-MHqXmg

Medical devices continue to evolve towards smaller, smarter and more connected systems. But as devices evolve, the complexity behind them grows just as fast. Higher data speeds, tighter spaces, sterilization requirements, biocompatible materials, moving components and sensor integration, all within systems where 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹. That changes the role of interconnection technology completely. It’s no longer about supplying a standalone cable or connector. It’s about combining technologies like miniature cabling, rotating connectors, integrated tubing, shielding, overmolding and precision assembly into one seamless system that fits the application perfectly. The earlier these challenges are solved in the development process, the bigger the impact on 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.
