☀️ An interesting article published today highlights the impact of extreme heat on outdoor AED cabinets. When an AED cabinet is exposed to direct sunlight, temperatures inside can rise significantly. That's why it's important to regularly check whether your AED cabinet and AED are functioning properly and whether the installation location is still suitable. If temperatures become too high, it may be better to temporarily move your AED indoors. If you do, make sure people can still find it by placing a notice on the outdoor cabinet indicating its new location. Also, don't forget to update the AED's location on HartslagNu so potential responders know exactly where to find it.
