Dodson, head of SmartNet Football, and support the demo tour of the SmartNet Football training system, covering roughly 700 miles to Pittsburgh over three days, by RV. Call it dedication, call it summer camper season. ⚙️ BREL MOTORS's roller shade motor uses NB-IoT (Narrowband IoT) cellular technology with an embedded Vodafone SIM, engineered by SPINNOV. 📶 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth trade power efficiency and range for high throughput, which works for most consumer electronics. But Brel's motor is solar-powered, has no mains connection, and often sits behind reinforced concrete and insulation, so that trade-off doesn't hold up. 🔋 NB-IoT solves this on the technology side: it runs on licensed mobile spectrum at lower frequencies, giving it a higher link budget than Wi-Fi and letting it penetrate walls that block other signals. Because the radio wakes only to transmit or receive, then sleeps again, it also fits a solar-charged battery's tight power budget. 🌐 But NB-IoT alone doesn't connect anything, it still needs a live network to talk to. Games are powerful tools for learning. Few would argue otherwise. What's less obvious is how far this goes, even into fields like endoscopic surgery, where precision matters most. 🎮🔬 That's the idea behind GetPlaying: by turning an endoscope into a game controller, we've built an interactive training platform where clinicians practice hand-eye coordination and instrument control before it ever touches a patient. A few weeks ago, at NIGHT OF THE NERDS | Futurebites, Games for Health brought this collaborative project of ours on stage, showing the next generation just how far "just a game" can go.

And we're proud to be part of this journey, can't wait to see what's next 🚀   A few months after taking home an incentive prize at the Sportinnovator Play-Offs, Urban Sports Performance Centre and the SKATRIXX team have done it again, this time as the winners of the SportUp.nl Boost Final Pitch Event, hosted by VDL Industrial Modules B.V. in Helmond.   After months of sharpening their business proposition through the SportUp Boost program, the team brought a strong concept and a convincing pitch in front of a jury of experts and professionals from the sports world, and came out on top. Which is an other sign that the vision behind SKATRIXX, and the broader TRIXX platform's mission to bring objective, data-driven performance insight to urban sports, is resonating far beyond the skate park. 🛹🏂🏄 Congratulations to Emma van Dijk and the entire Urban Sports Performance Centre team!
