𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬 ⚓ After 10 months in Rotterdam, 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘦 is heading back to sea. One of the most extensive 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐬 in Allseas’ history is now entering its final phase. The work has touched almost every major system on board, modernising propulsion, power generation, automation and hybrid power capability, while transforming the double joint factory (DJF) that has been at the heart of the vessel's pipelay operations for more than 25 years. This was more than a refit. The programme represents a strategic reinvestment in a vessel that has helped define offshore pipelay for nearly three decades. The 𝐮𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐉𝐅 lays the foundation for a more automated, data-driven and future-ready pipelay process, while extensive renewal work throughout the vessel strengthens reliability, efficiency and performance for the years ahead. Behind a project of this scale stand hundreds of specialists, suppliers, and technology partners. Their expertise and dedication have been instrumental in delivering this 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 for 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘦. Through continued investment in our fleet and technologies, we are strengthening our capabilities, advancing offshore construction, and ensuring our assets remain ready for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow's energy infrastructure. Following sea trials, 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘦 makes her long-awaited return to commercial operations in the Gulf of Mexico, where her new systems and equipment will be put to the test on a major 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚-𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, before embarking on a two-year global campaign that will take her to West Africa, Taiwan and Australia, delivering more than 1,250 kilometres of pipeline.
