  • Please say hello to Grace Barham, our Key Account Manager B2B in UK&I!👋 Each day, members of our team across all parts of the business are working together to help you to live-work-play in your own way, and we’d love to introduce them to you: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵? My journey at Trust began in February 2025 when I joined the UK&I Sales team to cover Amanda's retail accounts for a 9 month contract. During that time, I worked on a number of exciting new projects and activations, and was then offered the opportunity to stay and join the UK&I B2B team, helping to grow the SMB business. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵? I am now a Key Account Manager in the B2B team, and I have to say I’m loving it! I love visiting customers, working on collaborative business opportunities, and enjoying the fact that no two days are the same. 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵? I chose to work for Trust because I loved the values that the company holds, particularly empowering and encouraging people to be entrepreneurial. These values, along with Trust’s focus on being as sustainable as possible, truly align with my own. I think what makes Trust so great is its people, and that certainly made it an easy "yes" when I was offered the chance to stay.

  • Summer is peak season for home security. Consumers going on holiday want peace of mind before they leave. That makes IP cameras one of the most natural summer purchases in the smart home category, and one of the easiest conversations a retailer can have on the shop floor. The latest edition of our B2B newsletter Elevate covers the smart home opportunity this summer in more detail. • Spain does not have a sustainability awareness problem. It has a value translation problem. That is the opening line of an opinion piece our Head of Product & Marketing Dorothee de Backer recently contributed to Top Comunicación & RR.PP., and it gets to the heart of something most sustainability strategies still get wrong. Almost 50% of Spanish consumers say sustainability influences their purchase decisions. Yet only 17% are willing to pay a premium for it. The gap is not about conviction. It is about how brands translate sustainability into something that feels worth it. "Consumers do not buy sustainability. They buy products that work better, last longer, and feel worth it." Dorothee makes the case that the solution is not better sustainability messaging. It is better product design, where sustainability and value move in the same direction. • 80% of a headset's climate footprint is created before you ever open the box. Not when you're using it. Not when you throw it away. Before it even ships. That's the point our ESG Manager Arjan Steenbergen makes in his latest op-ed for CRN The Channel Company: sustainability isn't an end-of-life problem, it's a lifecycle one. Most of the impact is already locked in by the time a product reaches the shelf, decided by material choices, manufacturing processes and packaging made months earlier. TU Delft research backs this up: circular product design could cut demand for raw materials in electronics by up to 80%. Meanwhile global e-waste is on track to pass 80 million tonnes by 2030. At Trust, that's meant increasing recycled materials across our range, and cutting plastic and foam packaging by 25% and 32%. None of that makes a headline on its own. But Arjan's argument is that this is exactly what real progress looks like: hundreds of decisions customers will never notice individually, that add up to something that matters. The next phase isn't about bigger promises. It's about proof. Read the full piece: https://lnkd.in/eyeYBzht

  • That sunset had a very specific energy. Last week, the Trust France team was at IDEF, the French gaming industry's key B2B trade event on the Côte d'Azur. Three days of conversations with buyers, partners and key players in the market, focused on what's coming this summer and what will matter for end-of-year. We had a lot to talk about. And if that pink sky reminded us of somewhere else entirely... let's just say some of what we were discussing at IDEF might make a lot more sense come August. More on that soon. • Please say hello to Mike Verhelpen, our Business Development Manager KlikAanKlikUit!👋 Each day, members of our team across all parts of the business are working together to help you to live-work-play in your own way, and we’d love to introduce them to you: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵? I started working for KlikAanKlikUit in 2013, which at that time was a small part of Trust. Our team consisted of just six people, including myself, and I started in Customer Support. My role mainly involved answering consumer calls and emails to help resolve issues with KlikAanKlikUit products. As we were such a small team with a large sales area and customer base, my role quickly expanded beyond Customer Support, giving me the opportunity to develop my skills and eventually leading to a position as Account Manager. Together with a small group of customers, and under the guidance of Michel Hoekstra and Rene Panman, we helped to grow KlikAanKlikUit into what it is today. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵? I'm currently Business Development Manager for KlikAanKlikUit, where I focus on growing our business with existing customers while also finding new customers for our solutions. More recently, I also became responsible for the KlikAanKlikUit and Trust Smart Home brands as a Category Manager, where we work to find the best products and solutions for our current and future customers. The Smart Home landscape is evolving rapidly, so we're constantly working to keep pace with these developments and, where possible, help set new standards to ensure our customers and consumers stay up to date with the latest great innovations. 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵? Honestly, in 2013, I needed a job! Fortunately, I was hired and very quickly became a huge fan of the KlikAanKlikUit products and the solutions they offer. Over the years, Trust has given me plenty of opportunities to continue growing by taking on new challenges and responsibilities. This has included new roles, expanding my Sales region from Benelux to DACH, and ultimately moving into Business Development. Looking back, I'm really proud of the steps I've taken, and considering I've now been here for 13 years, I guess the feeling is mutual! 😉 Above all, it's my appreciation and trust in our Smart Home and KlikAanKlikUit brands that have kept me here.

  • What does it take to grow as a European brand in a market shaped by global players? In the latest edition of MultiMédia à la Une, our CEO Jeroen Hoogland shares his view on Trust’s strategy, our role in the evolving accessories market, and our ambition to become the most trusted mid-range brand for workspace and lifestyle accessories in Europe. As Jeroen explains in the interview: “Trust’s sustainable position is to be the most reliable choice in the mid-range. A valuable position that global players, because of their size and premium ambitions, often leave underserved.” The article highlights how Trust is moving forward with a stronger consumer-first approach, a growing focus on ergonomics, sustainability, local market knowledge, and products that support the way people work, play and connect today. A big thank you to MultiMédia à la Une and the messengers for featuring Jeroen and sharing more about Trust’s direction and ambitions. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eeK-FZba
