🚀 Get to know Wren Aerospace: the ESA BIC incubatee leveraging technologies developed for space missions to unlock the power of the stratosphere! Read the exclusive interview at: ▶️ https://lnkd.in/em3ShxjE The startup, founded by CEO Julius Jördens and CCO Firas Arab, is developing its unmanned aircraft to offer superior network connectivity and sensing capabilities. The Wren Flyer – a high-altitude pseudo-satellite (#HAPS) – has the stratosphere as its destination, operating at up to 20 km above the Earth. Milestones have already been reached and the early prototype is currently doing the first test flights outdoors. While incubated at ESA Business Incubation Centre Noordwijk, the team will be developing a more complex aircraft with novel design aspects that will enable significantly longer operation in the #stratosphere. 💫 The best bit about being at #ESABIC so far?
