BME is looking for an ambitious Group Business Controller to strengthen our Group Finance team at our headquarters near Schiphol, Amsterdam.

In this highly visible international role, you will partner with Finance Directors and Managing Directors across multiple European Operating Companies, providing financial insight, challenging performance, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in driving profitable growth, value creation, and continuous performance improvement across the Group.

Your responsibilities:

• Partner with Operating Companies to improve business performance through financial analysis and actionable insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and performance management cycles.
• Challenge financial results, identify risks and opportunities, and help drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate Group reporting, including management presentations for senior leadership.
• Review business cases, Capex investments and post-investment performance.
• Support value creation initiatives within BME's Together We Build strategy.
• Benchmark performance across Operating Companies and share best practices.
• Develop reporting, dashboards and KPI frameworks that enable better decision-making.
• Work closely with Group Controlling, Accounting & Reporting, and Transformation teams on strategic projects.

What we're looking for:

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, Finance or Consulting.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into business decisions.
• Experience in an international, matrix or private equity-backed environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable challenging senior management with fact-based analyses.
• Fluent in English (Dutch and/or German is a plus).
• This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence. Three days on-site at Schiphol, two days home-office.
