The Council<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;Council&nbsp;comprises&nbsp;one delegate appointed by each&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;Member.&nbsp;<br>Each delegate has the mandate to speak on behalf of his\/her&nbsp;Party, and&nbsp;should have sufficient&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;to&nbsp;participate&nbsp;in informed discussion and to vote on Council proposals.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>The Council meets regularly&nbsp;annually, either face-to-face or online, with the Director&nbsp;serving&nbsp;as chair.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The International Advisory Board<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The International Advisory Board for&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;is a committee&nbsp;with the&nbsp;purpose of guiding&nbsp;the future developments of&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;in terms of its policies,&nbsp;strategies&nbsp;and activities,&nbsp;building&nbsp;the&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;collaborations,&nbsp;membership&nbsp;and support community, and&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;its financial sustainability.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Board&nbsp;assists&nbsp;the&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;Director&nbsp;and Vice&nbsp;Director&nbsp;in their role.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Board&nbsp;comprises:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"far fa-user\"><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagstuhl.de\/en\/institute\/team\/details\/MRA\">Marcel R. Trustee Network<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Legal Public Entities willing to support&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;with at least 40,000 euros per year may be entitled to join as members of the&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;Trustee Network (OTN) by signing a specific agreement with the Hosting Member for at least two years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The OTN supervises the scientific strategy of&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;and may propose updates and future policies, to be proposed to the I.A. Board for its advice. The OTN is also responsible for monitoring that the work carried out by&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;has been done&nbsp;in accordance with&nbsp;the principles of the statutes and mission and can propose corrective measures if necessary to the I.A.&nbsp;Board.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Management Team<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Management Team is an administrative body&nbsp;appointed by the Director.&nbsp;I&nbsp;coordinates&nbsp;all the administrative,&nbsp;accounting and communication activities of&nbsp;OpenCitations, supporting&nbsp;both the Director and the Vice Director by undertaking&nbsp;administrative and secretarial tasks, and, under the supervision of the Director, by&nbsp;preparing the biannual&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;progress reports and the&nbsp;annual&nbsp;OpenCitations&nbsp;budget and financial report.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Director and Vice Director<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Director has the ultimate responsibility for the purpose, development,&nbsp;operation, and&nbsp;financial management&nbsp;of&nbsp;OpenCitations.&nbsp;The Director&nbsp;ensures, with the collaboration of the I.A. Board and the Vice&nbsp;Director, the efficient&nbsp;organization&nbsp;and operation of all activities, and coordinates&nbsp;all the activities of the IT supporting infrastructure&nbsp;of&nbsp;OpenCitations, and its accounting, legal and administration activities.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Vice Director is proposed by the Director and approved by the I.A.
