Vulnerabilities, consider this your final warning. Our engineers are watching. 👀 Innowise engineers Tolkien Urinbaev and Vladyslav Koniakhin have been officially credited with discovering and reporting two vulnerabilities in open-source software: 🔎 CVE-2026-36826, an SQL injection vulnerability in genesisQL 🔎 CVE-2026-56784, a cross-tenant authorization bypass in OpenRemote Manager The first issue could allow an unauthenticated attacker to manipulate a login query and bypass authentication. The second could let an authenticated user delete alarm records belonging to other tenants, including security and safety-related alerts. Both findings now have official CVE identifiers, which means they’ve entered the international system used by security teams, vendors, and vulnerability management tools to track publicly disclosed security issues. Finding vulnerabilities like these requires a deep understanding of application logic, authorization models, database security, source code, and real-world attack paths. And that’s exactly what Innowise engineers have and, more importantly, apply to every piece of software we build, test, or review for our clients. This milestone formalizes our commitment to building on Canton and positions Innowise alongside the institutions, infrastructure providers, and technology partners shaping the future of on-chain finance. "With DTCC preparing to bring tokenized US Treasuries and equities to Canton later this year, the institutions participating in that rollout will need systems integrators who can deliver. Together with Haust Labs, we built an EVM-compatible Layer 2 ecosystem that brings wallets, lending, swaps, asset management, and AI-powered assistance into one place. Instead of asking users to navigate multiple platforms and understand every technical detail, Haust aims to make DeFi feel much more like a familiar financial app. We didn’t take home the trophy this time, but making the final still means a great deal to us. It is a sign that the project is being noticed beyond our own teams, and that the idea of making DeFi more practical, accessible, and easier to use is striking a chord. We’re proud of what we’ve built with Haust Labs, grateful to the judges for the recognition, and excited to keep pushing the project forward. You can put almost anything on a blockchain. But how to make the token in someone's wallet mean something and hold real, enforceable value tied to a real asset? Turning a physical or financial asset into something that lives on-chain is a sequence: legal structuring, asset valuation, choosing the right token standard, custody, compliance, and only then, issuance. No step can be skipped. If you do, you risk getting a legal problem with a blockchain attached. 𝐇𝐓𝐖 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 was one of those days where you quickly remember why meeting students in person matters. This year’s theme was 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲, and Innowise joined the industry lineup at HTW Berlin to share a bit about who we are, what we build, and what working in software development can look like after university. We took part in the company pitch session, met students throughout the day, talked about our projects and tech stack, and answered questions about internships, open roles, first jobs, and how to find your footing in IT. Thanks to 𝐇𝐓𝐖 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧 for creating such a useful meeting point between students, lecturers, alumni, and companies.
