Tenemos una gran noticia que compartir. En Intermalta ponemos en marcha un nuevo proyecto para la descarbonización de nuestra planta de Albacete, con una inversión de 29,7 millones de euros, que supone un paso importante en nuestro camino hacia un modelo productivo más sostenible en el sector agroalimentario en España. Este proyecto se desarrolla en el marco del PERTE de descarbonización industrial del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia del Gobierno de España, y nos permite seguir acelerando esta transformación. En Intermalta, la sostenibilidad es una prioridad, pero sobre todo es una realidad. Este proyecto nos permitirá reducir de forma significativa nuestras emisiones, mejorar la eficiencia de nuestros procesos y acompañar a nuestros clientes en sus propios objetivos de descarbonización. No es un proyecto aislado. Es un paso más dentro de un camino claro. Tras la puesta en marcha de la biomasa en Sevilla, seguimos avanzando con nuevas iniciativas que refuerzan nuestra posición como referente en sostenibilidad en el sector maltero en España. A barley field in Eastern France, a few days before harvest. Mr Kawahara, from #Sapporo Breweries LTD, came to see and feel what regenerative agriculture actually looks like on the ground. Guided by Damien, one of 600 farmers in our TRANSITIONS RegenAg programme in France, he walked the rows, touched the crop, read the soil with his own hands. There was also an unexpected guest: a ladybug. A small sign that these fields are healthy, and that the programme is working. Our partnership goes a little deeper each season.
