Brent D . Ruben

Dr. Brent Ruben is a Distinguished Professor of Communication. He was founder and executive director of the University Center for Organizational Leadership at Rutgers University, where he now serves as Senior University Fellow. He also serves as Advisor to the Office of the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs. Dr. Ruben also holds faculty appointments in the Graduate School of Education and the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine.  Professor Ruben’s academic work focuses on organizational and leadership theory and its application to enhance communication competency and strategy in interpersonal, intercultural, health, organizational, educational, and settings.  His recent books include: Leading Change in Higher Education: Principles and Pragmatics for Organizational Effectiveness, Stylus, 2022
