  • In this Kidbrooke Insights Podcast, Stefan Moritz explains how he asked a leadership team to draw "the customer" on a Post-it note and describe who they were. Simple exercise right?🤷 The room quickly realised something important - There is no "the customer". Every organisation talks about being customer-centric. We invest in transformation programmes, redesign journeys and build strategies around putting the customer first. But how often do we stop and ask whether we've actually involved customers in shaping those decisions? As Stefan points out in this clip, it's difficult to build truly customer-centric experiences if we rely on assumptions rather than engaging with the people we're designing for. It's a timely reminder that AI and personalisation don't remove the need to understand people. If anything, they make it even more important. How does your organisation ensure the customer voice genuinely shapes decisions, rather than simply validating them afterwards? 🎧 Listen to the 20th episode of the Kidbrooke Insights Podcast: Time, Trust & Technology: What if Finance was Designed for Humans? Stefan joins Natalie Burke and Zaliia Gindullina to explore how AI, trust and human-centred design are reshaping the future of financial services. #CustomerExperience #ServiceDesign #FinancialServices #AI #Leadership #Innovation #CustomerCentricity #FinTech

  • What will define WealthTech's success in the months ahead? As the industry enters the second half of 2026, wealth managers are navigating a rapidly changing landscape from AI readiness and data quality to delivering more meaningful client engagement. We're delighted to see our CEO & Co-founder, Fredrik Davéus, featured alongside other industry leaders in FinTech Global's recent WealthTech article, sharing his perspective on one of the sector's biggest opportunities. Many firms already have access to data and analytics. The real differentiator is ensuring those insights reach clients in a timely, relevant and actionable way, helping them make better financial decisions with greater confidence. Thank you to FinTech Global for bringing this together! 🎥 To read the article/watch the video see the link in comments #WealthTech #WealthManagement #FinTech #DigitalTransformation #ClientExperience #FinancialAdvice

    • What will define the WealthTech sector’s success in H2 2026?
  • Nearly every conversation we're having with insurers and brokers right now sounds the same. The ambition is there. The strategy is clear. But execution remains the biggest challenge. Many organisations are still navigating: 👉 Manual fund operations 👉 Limited customer self-service 👉 Siloed systems and disconnected data 👉 Increasing regulatory requirements 👉 Long product launch cycles Modernising investment operations doesn't have to mean embarking on another multi-year transformation programme. In our experience, the biggest gains come from removing operational friction where it matters most. That means: - Automating NAV, trading and reconciliation - Enabling intuitive digital self-service journeys - Embedding investment projections that help customers make informed decisions - Building compliance into the platform from day one - Bringing new investment propositions to market in weeks, not months (or years!) We've seen this with a life insurance client in the Middle East, where they went from concept to live investment journeys in a matter of weeks. The firms that move fastest tend to reduce complexity rather than manage it. Speed comes from removing what slows you down. With Middle East-specific integrations for ✅ execution ✅ KYC ✅ payments ✅ central bank reporting we're definitely well placed to help. If you're looking to accelerate digital investment capabilities we'd be happy to start the conversation. #KidbrookeONE #financialanalytics #wealthmanagement #insurance #digitaltransformation

    • What happens when your fund platform JUST WORKS!
  • Ask most people how a GenAI assistant works and they'll tell you it's simple: you ask a question, the model gives you an answer. That's exactly the architecture Kate by Kidbrooke® was designed to avoid. In the latest Kidbrooke Insights Podcast, Fredrik Davéus (CEO at Kidbrooke) explains why you never really talk directly to the language model when you use Kate. Sitting between you and the LLM is an orchestration layer that runs multiple passes on every message. The first pass is about intent. Are you asking for a fact; what products a provider offers, how a product works, the minimum monthly investment, or what the fund universe looks like? Or are you asking what happens if you invest a certain amount, at a certain risk level, over a certain period of time? Those are two very different questions, and they need two very different engines. Factual questions draw on trusted information. Forward-looking questions require deterministic calculations performed by the analytics platform, not estimates generated by a language model. Kate classifies the intent, extracts the relevant information, runs the calculations where needed, then passes the results back to the LLM to formulate the final response. 💫 The outcome? More reliable, transparent, and auditable AI designed for the realities of financial services. This doesn't eliminate the risk of erroneous output entirely, you are still working with statistical models, but it significantly reduces that risk, particularly with newer models that are far better at following instructions. That's what moves AI into territory that's suitable not only for internal teams, but also for customer-facing use cases. It's a useful reminder that the hard part of GenAI in financial services isn't the language model itself, it's everything you build around it. The full conversation explores the story behind Kate, practical use cases across compliance, client engagement and advisor efficiency, and the realities of AI adoption in financial services today. 🎧 Have a listen to the full episode via the link in the comments. #GenAI #ArtificialIntelligence #FinancialServices #FinTech #WealthTech #ResponsibleAI #Innovation #KidbrookeInsightsPodcats

🚴 He did it! Sweden to France, by bike. Last November we shared that Kidbrooke was sponsoring our colleague Björn Bergstrand as he took on Team Rynkeby Stockholm's charity ride in support of child cancer research. Last week, Björn and his teammates rolled into Paris after cycling 1,400 kilometres from Helsingborg through summer heat, headwinds and the occasional well-earned ice lolly stop. 🍧 Team Rynkeby Stockholm is part of a European charity cycling movement, and in Sweden EVERY krona raised goes to Barncancerfonden, the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund, supporting children affected by critical illness and their families. Riders cover their own participation costs personally, so every donation goes directly to the cause. The ride may be over, but the fundraising isn't 🙋♂️ If Björn's effort has inspired you, there's still time to contribute. You'll find the link to his fundraising page in the comments, and Swedish supporters can also donate via Swish on 123 614 08 91. Björn, we're all enormously proud of you. Chapeau! 💙 💛 #TeamRynkeby #Barncancerfonden #ChildCancerResearch #CharityCycling #Kidbrooke

  • Most risk teams already have a macroeconomic forecast. What they're missing is a defensible way to turn it into the stress scenarios their process actually needs. In our latest post, we explore how KidbrookeONE's Economic Scenario Generator bridges that gap, and why the distinction between scenario severity and scenario weighting is where so many stress testing processes quietly lose their audit trail. We also look at what it means to bring a back-end engine to the surface: giving risk analysts a guided, transparent workflow rather than a black box, and producing outputs that can answer a regulator's questions without anyone having to reconstruct a spreadsheet from three reporting cycles ago. The same engine that powers pension forecasting and investment advice on the platform is now informing credit risk and regulatory stress testing. Different variables, different governance language but the same statistical foundation. 👇 Link in the comments if you're working through similar questions on scenario construction, IFRS 9, or regulatory stress testing more broadly. #creditrisk #compliance #financialplanning #riskmanagement

Recent blog from our member, Kidbrooke, about why lifecycle investing is an analytics problem, not just an investment problem “Most commentary on Singapore’s CPF Lifecycle Investment Scheme focuses on the glidepath: how the asset allocation should shift from equities to bonds as members approach retirement, what the target dates should be, and how aggressively to de-risk. “But there is a harder question sitting beneath them, and it is the one that independent investment consultants will spend most of their time on. How do you know, with any rigour, whether your glidepath will actually work?” 💡 Read the full article on TWM: https://lnkd.in/gkA-U4n8 Kidbrooke is a tech company specialising in solutions dedicated to improving decision-making processes in the financial services industry. • For decades, end-of-service benefits in the UAE meant a lump sum at the end of employment, sitting as a static liability on the employer's balance sheet. 💫 That is now changing, and in Episode 19 of Kidbrooke Insights Podcast, Adil SAGHIR, MBA, Head of Savings & Pensions at HAYAH Insurance, describes the EOSB reform as genuinely transformative. Employers can now channel end-of-service contributions into qualified pension schemes, with both sides of the employment relationship standing to gain. Employees see their benefits invested and growing over time, building real retirement wealth. Employers can move liabilities off the balance sheet, gain flexibility in cash flow management, and offer a benefit that genuinely differentiates them in the talent market. Yet the most profound impact is cultural. The UAE is moving from a gratuity mindset to a pension mindset. People can realistically plan to keep their lifestyle and retire in the UAE, calling for long-term financial planning. Adil joins Erik Brodin, Product Expert and Natalie Burke, Head of Marketing at Kidbrooke to unpack what this shift means for insurers, group benefits providers and HR leaders across the region. 🔗 Full episode via the link in the comments. #KidbrookeInsights #GroupPensions #UAE #EOSB #RetirementPlanning #WealthTech

  • 🤔 How many analytics rebuilds does your next product launch require? For many life insurers and pension providers, the answer is at least one. Each new product triggers the same cycle: a new model, a fresh validation exercise, another procurement exercise, and a launch date that slips while all three play out. The pattern repeats because the analytics are built around individual products rather than the institution itself. KidbrookeONE takes a different approach. 👇 A single simulation engine models the full client balance sheet: assets, liabilities, income, pensions, taxation and cash flows. That same engine powers forecasting, advice, guidance and monitoring across every channel and journey. So when a new product launches, the work is configuration, not (re)construction. You define the journey, extend the product setup in a central product universe, and go live. The analytics layer stays exactly where it is: already validated, already procured, already trusted by your risk and compliance teams. That consistency makes launches repeatable and significantly faster. One implementation went live with a new investment journey in under three weeks because the engine underneath had not changed. 💫 Faster launches are about removing the steps that should only ever happen once! #wealthtech #lifeinsurance #pensions #digitaltransformation #KidbrookeONE
