📢 Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking is pleased to share that it is now a founding member of Regulated Layer One (RL1), a newly established European Cooperative Society (SCE) based in Luxembourg. 💻 We support the creation of this European initiative in the DLT space that will allow us to transact with other members in tokenized assets and digital money. RL1 brings together several compelling elements: ✅ Overcoming Fragmentation: RL1 provides a shared, neutral, and trust-based blockchain infrastructure, moving the financial sector beyond isolated pilot projects toward a scalable, collaborative network. ✅ Institutional-Grade Technology: The network is built on SWIAT's production-grade DLT technology. ✅ Equal & Secure Governance: As an SCE, RL1 ensures equal decision-making rights for all founding members, offering long-term stability and full compliance with stringent regulated financial market IT requirements. ✅ Interoperability & Flexibility: This permissioned network connects assets and services across jurisdictions while allowing participants the flexibility to develop custom solutions on the platform. 🤝 Together with our co-founders and partners, we are proud to help build the core infrastructure for the next generation of global digital financial markets. Has European student housing moved beyond being an "alternative" asset class? 📈 In our latest article, Thierry Cherel, MRICS and Roméo Yombo, MSc. explore what's supporting the sector's resilience and why Europe's student housing story may still be in its early chapters.📖 After a difficult period for commercial real estate, student housing has rebounded strongly, with investment volumes exceeding pre-pandemic levels and returns recovering to their strongest since 2021. 🎓 But the more interesting story isn't the rebound itself – it's what's driving it: Growing international student mobility, Persistent undersupply across most European markets, Continental Europe continuing to catch up with the UK's more mature market, amongst other trends. Even the slight dip in occupancy during 2025 is better understood as a consequence of record levels of new development than weakening demand. Read their full insights here: https://lnkd.in/e4WwGWsg 👈

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking recently welcomed clients and industry leaders to its 4th Annual Private Debt Forum in London – the first edition held outside Paris – bringing together experts from across banking, asset management, and institutional investing to explore the evolving private debt landscape. 🔎 Discussions throughout the day highlighted how private credit is entering a new phase of maturity, where success is increasingly driven by disciplined underwriting, differentiation and innovation rather than rapid expansion. The agenda also explored the impact of macroeconomic uncertainty, regulatory dynamics and AI on credit markets, stressing the importance of robust analysis, strong governance and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment. 📌 A consistent message emerged: private debt has become a core pillar of global finance, with differentiation, selectivity and long-term partnerships set to define the next phase of growth. 🙏 Thank you to all our panellists and participants for their valuable insights and contributions to the discussion. Sport Definition – Bpifrance – 1 July 2026 ⚽ In the midst of the FIFA World Cup, Alain Gallois was delighted to join a roundtable discussion alongside Feras Sheraiff (PIF), Jaime Blanco Manrique (LaLiga) and Tristram Leach (Apollo). They discussed the evolving dynamics of investing in the sports industry. The conversation highlighted the delicate balance involved in investing in sports assets. Financial metrics matter, but they are not enough. Investors must also assess club performance, the resilience of media rights, governance standards, and the strength of each club’s unique fan ecosystem. Compared with the US, where the sports market is more structured, Europe remains highly fragmented. In this environment, the combined strengths of Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking and Groupe BPCE bring together global expertise and local market knowledge. This helps connect sports IP holders, clubs, leagues, and investors. It also makes sports assets more transparent, credible, and financeable. Long-term investor confidence depends on aligning investment horizons with those of those clubs. In France, we are fortunate to count on institutional partners such as Bpifrance to support this vision. Many thanks to Arnaud Caudoux and Bpifrance for organizing such an excellent event. https://lnkd.in/e73MGsUD #NatixisCIB #BPCE #Sports #SportsBusiness #Investment #Banking #Europe
