The WCS 2026 Science of Cities Symposium (SoCS) Poster Exhibition presented 79 posters from over 40 institutions worldwide, offering delegates and trade visitors a closer look at cutting-edge research on the most pressing urban challenges of our time. Beyond the posters themselves, delegates had the opportunity to engage directly with researchers to gain deeper insights into their methodologies and findings across two broad SoCS themes: "AI-Powered Urban Analytics" and "Human-Centred Smart Cities". Topics included urban AI, data analytics and modelling, climate adaptation and environmental resilience, inclusivity and accessibility, community-centric methods, smart city governance and infrastructure, and health and well-being in the built environment.
