Hello! Welcome to my homepage! 

I am an economist and currently a visiting faculty member at Wellesley College. I also teach economics in the MC/MPA Summer Program at Harvard Kennedy School. 

My research lies at the intersection of development economics, labor economics, and political economy. Recently, I have focused on labor market dynamics in developing countries (See my CV). I am passionate about understanding the economic forces that drive societal progress and developing policies that promote economic development and enhance labor markets for sustainable employment. 

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Sussex (UK), an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), and a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia).
