Change Shared with You settings in Messages on Mac

In the Messages app on your Mac, use Shared with You settings to select the apps where you want to see content that’s been shared with you. When a person shares content with you in Messages, such as a link to a news story or TV show, you can find that content in a Shared with You section in the corresponding app. When Shared with You is on for Photos, an image a friend sends you also appears in your photo library.

Shared with You is available in the following apps: the Apple TV app, Books, Finder, Freeform, News, Notes, Photos, Podcasts, Reminders, Safari, iWork apps, and some third-party apps. To stop getting the content you receive in Messages in the Shared with You section of other apps, click Turn Off, or deselect individual apps in the list.

Note: Content only appears in Shared with You if the person who sent it is in your contacts.

To change these settings, choose Messages > Settings, then click Shared with You.
