Every intercepted air attack, every completed mission, and every successfully neutralized target means one thing above all else: lives saved. Behind these results stands the daily work of pilots, air defense crews, radio-technical troops, engineers, maintenance personnel, and everyone who enables the successful execution of combat missions. The quality of intelligence data largely depends on the quality of the sensors. Raybird’s high-precision optics delivers imagery with a resolution of just a few centimeters, enabling the detection and identification of objects at long range. Depending on mission requirements, the system can operate with either high-performance optical cameras or SAR, enabling reconnaissance through clouds, fog, and other adverse weather conditions. Congratulations to our partners ONBERG on the opening of the ONBERG Live Hub in Brandenburg an der Havel! This new site enables industry, authorities, and armed forces to experience mission-proven counter-UAS technology as a complete system—from detection and command & control to defense—under realistic conditions, supporting Europe’s growing critical infrastructure protection needs. The opening was attended by Dr. Jan Redmann, Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg, who visited the ONBERG Live Hub to learn more about innovative counter-UAS solutions and their role in strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure, public safety, and security. Our first guest is the commander of the RAY unit, a Ukrainian reconnaissance unit that conducts combat missions using unmanned aerial systems, including the Raybird. On July 28, Ukraine honors the memory of the Defenders of Ukraine, members of volunteer formations, and civilians who were executed, tortured, or died in captivity. This day commemorates the Olenivka prison massacre. On the night of July 28–29, 2022, russian forces blew up a barrack at the Volnovakha Correctional Colony, where unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war — including defenders of Mariupol — were being held. At least 53 Ukrainian POWs were killed in the attack, while more than 130 others were injured. Olenivka has become one of the most horrific symbols of russia’s crimes against Ukrainian prisoners of war. Yet it is only one of many crimes committed by russia against Ukrainian POWs and civilians. Our people remain in russian captivity to this day. Remembering them is the responsibility of every one of us. During a single flight, Raybird can support multiple strike corrections. This enables continuous support throughout an operation, rapid updates to targeting data, and more accurate target engagement. Raybird is engineered for repeated deployment. Its parachute and airbag recovery system enables a controlled landing, preserving both the aircraft and its payload. This approach reduces mission turnaround time, allowing the system to be rapidly prepared for subsequent sorties while maintaining high operational availability across repeated missions.

This day also symbolically coincides with the Day of the Baptism of Rus’-Ukraine. Today, Ukrainian statehood is tested every single day. Yet it remains strong thanks to the people who defend our land, save lives, teach, work, volunteer, tell the world the truth about russia's war against Ukraine, and through their daily efforts help shape Ukraine's future. It is because of millions of people like them that Ukraine continues to shape its free and independent future, reaffirming its unwavering civilizational choice — to be part of the democratic world. Military intelligence goes beyond visual observation — it enables the detection of what the enemy is trying to conceal. One of Raybird’s key capabilities is its ability to be equipped with an RF Locator module that detects active radio frequency emissions and determines their geolocation, identifying active signal sources — air defense systems, EW units, radars, command posts, and communication nodes. This makes it possible to determine their position even when they are camouflaged or outside the line of sight. With an endurance of up to 30 hours, Raybird can efficiently patrol large areas while continuously monitoring for new RF emissions. As soon as a signal is detected, the operator receives the precise coordinates of its source. Even in the event of a communication loss, Raybird continues the mission autonomously, ensuring that all collected intelligence is preserved until the data link is restored and the information can be transmitted. More time in the air means more opportunities to detect threats in a timely manner and provide units with precise intelligence information.
