  • Recruitment fraud is increasing globally, with scammers impersonating executive search firms, consultants, and legitimate career opportunities across email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, SMS, and other platforms. As an AESC Member Firm, we are joining a coordinated awareness effort to help clients and candidates recognize suspicious outreach and better understand what legitimate executive search communication should look like. A real executive search process should be professional, transparent, and verifiable. Candidates should never be asked to pay to be considered for a role, submitted to a client, coached for an opportunity, or introduced to a hiring organization. Check Before You Connect. • Coulter Partners successfully led a search for Salvia BioElectronics and is pleased to announce the placement of Jill Schiaparelli, MBA, as Chair of its Board of Directors. Salvia BioElectronics is a clinical-stage medical device company pioneering a neuromodulation therapy for people with debilitating migraine. Its MySalvia neuromodulation platform is poised to set a new standard of care and restore quality of life to hundreds of millions of people who suffer with resistant migraine, a condition in which significant disability persists despite multiple treatments. Hubert Martens, Founder and CEO of Salvia, said: “Our collaboration with Coulter Partners was vital to this search. Navigating a transatlantic placement within a highly technical and niche clinical sector requires deep domain expertise. The Coulter Partners team demonstrated impressive international reach and real strategic agility, acting as a seamless extension of our business to secure a world-class U.S. leader who shares our vision to deliver drug-free relief to millions of migraine sufferers.” Penny Sadler, Managing Partner at Coulter Partners, said: “Identifying a Chair in the niche neuromodulation medical device market in the U.S. is particularly challenging given the complex market dynamics and limited talent pool of leaders who combine venture-backed CEO experience, deep commercial expertise, and a proven ability to scale within a highly specialized and evolving segment. Our goal was to uncover an executive who could translate pioneering science into an impactful U.S. commercial strategy, and Jill’s phenomenal track record of taking breakthrough bioelectronic platforms from inception through to regulatory milestones makes her uniquely positioned to guide Salvia through its next growth inflection point.” Nona Footz, Client Partner at Coulter Partners, added: “Jill is the unique combination of deep technical experience coupled with high EQ, a leadership track record of making an impact in growing companies, and leveraging her knowledge and network to help drive team performance. Her innate understanding of operational scale-up within the American healthcare ecosystem, paired with her extensive board-level governance experience, ensures that Salvia is remarkably well-positioned. It was a privilege to partner with Hubert and the Salvia Board to complete this high-impact international placement.” Read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/e3i7rQSK    #Innovation #TeamBuilding #ExecutiveSearch #Leadership #TopTalent #Health Key players for this placement: Nona Footz, Penny Sadler, Laura Esam, Rachel Matos, Fiona Ferri, Lucy Webb and Andrea Litovszky

That's a wrap on a brilliant HLTH Europe week in Amsterdam! Coulter Partners loved co-organizing the Health Tech Mixer to kick off the festivities with our ecosystem partners, and the energy carried right through the main event. Read Managing Partner Ian Coyne's full post below for a breakdown of the major themes driving the Health Tech conversation this week, from market reality checks to emerging data momentum.

Departing HLTH Inc. is always a funny time. Three days of constant networking, double breakfasts, double dinners means most people are ready to head home. For those that were there (and those that missed it) a few observations & nuggets 📍 Valentina Milanova was clear on stage that we need to stop treating the UK like an R&D centre for the US. Yes, the US market is important, and large, but should start ups and scale ups rush there? Think hard before crossing the pond 🎢 It was great to hear Lucanus ⛵️ Polagnoli give some psychology of an investor to early stage founders. The lesson is that there is so much that happens in the fund that you may never see and that can impact investment decisions that are outside of your control. 💱 Yes - margin on GLP-1 is falling but there are great models supporting patients - hearing that first hand from Kai Eberhardt 👩👧👧 Women's Health is advancing and that is due to more and more data being available - there is still a huge gap to fill but momentum and sentiment is stronger every year. Issy Gordon as a plan to do something great that I am sure we will see come out of stealth soon with some great partners 🤖 It felt like the AI hype cycle that was so present last year has now gone. Its AI reality and regulated products. Regulation and access are defensible. 💳 Great to see Molly Gilmartin picking up her cheque as the winner of the Start Up Pitch 🔅 Optimism - genuine optimism that investment is moving, adoption is happening, regulators are shifting, consumers are caring more about their health and opportunities will come. The main thing was watching (and hopefully facilitating) some connections being formed.
