About us
Cox London is a thriving London atelier where specialist artists and highly skilled makers, hand produce a unique and sculptural offering. The team has been nurtured and developed, over many years, by founders Christopher and Nicola Cox who are sculptors, designers and makers in their own right. We aim to design and produce unique lighting, furniture and artworks, befitting of the very best interiors worldwide. We define a successful interior as comfortable, individual and absolutely serene; spaces that both calms and energises our client’s lives. Many of our creations tread the fine line between art, design and craft, a relationship that we are happy to let characterise our work. Working with an international clientele of celebrated designers, architects and extraordinary private individuals, we design, draw and produce pieces from beginning to end in our London studio and workshops, shipping worldwide. Visits to the studio and workshops in north London are welcomed by appointment and examples of our work can be seen at our London gallery in the heart of London’s Pimlico Road Design District.

If you visited WOW!house 2026, you may have noticed a pair of our Suspension Globes, perfectly placed in the arcades flanking this year's fabulous facade by Darren Price, ADAM Architecture and built by Size Group Designed in 2010, The Suspension Globe owes its origin to hundreds of antique lanterns our team restored between 1995 and 2010; the hanging mechanism designed as a clean, architectural alternative to a chain. #suspensionglobe #coxlondon #wow!house #pendantlight #lightingdesign Design Centre Chelsea Harbour

One of our favourite and busiest evenings of the year. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Pimlico Road Summer Party. It was a pleasure to open the gallery, share the works, reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones into Cox London. For those who couldn't make it this time, we hope to see you through our doors soon, and perhaps at next year's celebration. #coxlondongallery #pimlicoroad #coxlondon

Congratulations Adelaide Bragg on your beautiful new book, City, Coast & Country: A Book of Australian Interiors, written by Robyn Lea. de Gournay provided the perfect setting for your London launch last night. We loved hearing about your early life, the magical rural landscapes, and the homestead idyll that have inspired both you and your work. Thank you for placing our pieces with such thought and wisdom. It’s always such a pleasure working with you and your wonderful team. #adelaidebragg #coxlondon #bespokelighting #functionalart Adelaide Bragg Interiors

With WOW!house 2026 officially open, we take a look back at our Entrance Hall, and wish all of the designers, brands and contributors involved in this year's event the best of luck. For Cox London's debut at WOW!house 2025, Chris and Nicola Cox partnered with interior designer Victoria Davar of Maison Artefact to reimagine the Entrance Hall. Drawing classical inspiration from architectural drawings of Borden House in Mayfair, the space was envisioned as the home of an artist -where the boundaries between life, art, and interior dissolve. IN THE PRESS "Bringing wilderness into the home is about allowing a sense of vitality to take up space. Whether that comes from the natural world itself – something gathered on a walk – or a sculpted form, it can be transformative. Both nature and design contain histories beneath their surfaces. Neither is fully predictable. And when these energies enter a home, they shift the space in ways that can be deeply felt." An article Nicola Cox wrote for the Financial Times, published today. Applications are open for our second cohort of apprentices in Cox London's one-of-a-kind, three-year craft apprenticeship. From lost wax casting and forging, to patination, apprentices will gain hands-on experience as they begin shaping their future in making. Through this scheme, we aim to support young makers. In doing so, we honour the legacy of our own journey and those who came before us, ensuring the continuation of heritage crafts.
