  • Curium reintroduces Thallous Chloride Tl 201 Injection in the U.S. to support high-stakes cardiac imaging needs. Collaborating with nuclear cardiology leaders, Curium is restoring access to a radiopharmaceutical used in nuclear cardiology after production ceased in 2022. Renewed availability can help diversify diagnostic pathways for select patients undergoing myocardial perfusion evaluation.  “For select patients, Thallous Chloride Tl 201 Injection can support timely, actionable imaging when operational flexibility matters, helping to reduce uncertainty so care teams can make confident, time-sensitive decisions and move quicky to the most appropriate next steps” said Andrew J. Einstein, MD, PhD, Director of Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. This is an important milestone for Curium and crucially the patients we serve. Read full press release here: https://lnkd.in/eJPX6-sX Indications & Usage Thallous Chloride Tl 201 Injection is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical indicated for myocardial perfusion imaging in adults for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease by localization of non-reversible defects (myocardial infarction) or of reversible defects (myocardial ischemia) when used in conjunction with stress.   IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Warnings and Precautions Radiation Risk: Thallous Chloride Tl 201 contributes to the overall long-term cumulative radiation exposure which is associated with an increased risk of cancer. Ensure safe handling to minimize radiation exposure to patients and health care providers. Advise patients to hydrate before and after administration and to void frequently after administration.   Please click here for additional Important Safety Information: https://lnkd.in/ewSWZbRi Please click here for full Prescribing Information: https://lnkd.in/erCiY-UW #Curium #NuclearMedicine #NuclearCardiology #Thallium201 #MedicalImaging #PatientCare

  • For decades, Thallous Chloride Tl 201 Injection has played an important role in myocardial perfusion imaging, helping clinicians assess heart muscle viability and support evidence-based treatment decisions. With its reintroduction, more patients can once again access myocardial viability testing, particularly those who may not be candidates for MRI or who do not have access to PET imaging. At Curium, we're proud to help expand access to trusted nuclear medicine solutions that support better patient care in the U.S. Indications & Usage Thallous Chloride Tl 201 Injection is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical indicated for myocardial perfusion imaging in adults for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease by localization of non-reversible defects (myocardial infarction) or of reversible defects (myocardial ischemia) when used in conjunction with stress.
