  • Congratulations to The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) on launching its tokenization platform. Bringing Russell 1000 names, major ETFs and Treasuries into tokenized form is another important step toward mainstream digital capital markets, and a welcome milestone for the industry. As tokenized issuance accelerates, the conversation is rightly turning from what gets digitized to how these trades are funded, settled and mobilized at scale. Every advance reinforces the same question: how can these transactions settle safely, with finality and programmability? That is where regulated, interoperable settlement infrastructure becomes critical. Settlement in central bank money provides the trust, finality and resiliency that underpin today's financial system, and those principles remain just as important in tomorrow's digital markets. Fnality is building the settlement layer for tokenized wholesale markets, and we look forward to supporting the industry as adoption continues to grow. https://lnkd.in/eAqnTP4B

  • We're proud to be part of the UK's new Wholesale Digital Markets Taskforce, announced today by HM Treasury's Wholesale Digital Markets Champion, Chris Woolard CBE, and supported by the City of London Corporation. Bringing together 54 organisations from across financial services, market infrastructure and technology, the Taskforce will help accelerate the adoption of tokenisation in UK wholesale markets through practical, end-to-end use cases, beginning with tokenised repo, alongside the development of common standards and industry best practice. At Fnality, we believe scaling digital markets requires collaboration across the ecosystem, combining trusted settlement infrastructure, interoperable technology and clear governance. We look forward to working alongside industry, government and regulatory authorities to help strengthen the UK's leadership in digital wholesale financial markets. • Tokenized money just took another step from theory to practice. Congratulations to Swift and its 17 pilot banks on the launch of a blockchain-based ledger supporting 24/7 cross-border payments. The announcement is another sign that the institutions and infrastructures underpinning the global financial system are actively shaping the future of digital markets. As tokenized activity expands across multiple networks, trusted, regulated settlement infrastructure will become increasingly important to enable safe, scalable market adoption. Fnality is proud to be building regulated wholesale payment systems that enable settlement in central bank money, providing the trusted foundation for the next generation of tokenized financial markets. The future of finance will be built through collaboration across market infrastructures, with interoperable networks, trusted settlement assets and common standards working together to enable digital markets to scale.

Implemented in 9 months. Global from day one. Swift's blockchain-based ledger is ready for use, with ANZ, BNP Paribas, BNY, Citi, DBS Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), FirstRand, HSBC, Banco Itaú, Lloyds Banking Group, Mashreq, MUFG, OCBC, Standard Chartered, UBS, UOB and Wells Fargo preparing to pilot 24/7 tokenised cross-border payments. This is a significant step towards scaling tokenised finance powered by the standards, security and global reach the industry relies on. By combining distributed ledger technology with Swift’s secure messaging network, the ledger: -Enhances liquidity efficiency -Improves cash flow visibility  -Enables seamless token recognition What’s next? This is the first use case. The ledger creates a foundation for future innovation in areas like programmable money and agentic commerce, and we're continuing to explore more use cases with our community - helping to take tokenised money closer to scalable, real-world adoption. • Pleased to see Fnality recognised in the Bank of England's latest annual report on financial market infrastructures. The report highlights how the safety and resilience of the UK's payment systems have been validated repeatedly through recent stress events, while reaffirming the Bank's low risk appetite for a significant shift away from settlement in central bank money. As the first wholesale DLT-based settlement system settling central bank reserves on-chain, we're proud to be part of the future ecosystem helping bring wholesale settlement into the digital age while keeping central bank money at its foundation. https://lnkd.in/eX7d7Yq3

  • Privacy isn't a blockchain feature. It's a financial market infrastructure requirement. At the Linux Foundation Open Forum, our Chief Product Officer, Simone Cortese will discuss one of the biggest questions facing institutional digital markets: How do we balance transparency, commercial confidentiality and regulatory oversight? As tokenized markets evolve, privacy will be defined not by hiding information, but by ensuring the right participants have access to the right information at the right time. Join the conversation tomorrow as industry leaders explore the future of privacy in institutional digital markets, with The Linux Foundation. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eE_yCDEn

  • Settlement finality remains one of the fundamental building blocks of wholesale digital asset markets. While atomic settlement is a powerful capability, it isn't always the desired outcome. Financial institutions often need the flexibility to coordinate assets and liabilities, optimise liquidity and align settlement across multiple obligations before a transaction becomes legally final. As digital markets mature, the conversation is shifting from simply enabling faster settlement to designing smarter, programmable settlement. In the latest conversation with e-Forex, Myles Wright discusses why settlement design, interoperability and trust will be critical to scaling institutional digital asset markets. https://lnkd.in/eVf-DNsv

  • It was a productive week of industry engagement for the Fnality team at #PointZeroForum. As tokenized markets continue to evolve, the conversation is shifting from what can be tokenized to what is required to support adoption at scale. • Michelle Neal, our Group CEO, joined a panel on the evolution of tokenized markets, discussing why trusted settlement, liquidity and interoperability infrastructure are becoming increasingly important as markets mature. • Simone Cortese, our CPO, participated in discussions on practical settlement models for tokenized markets and the resilience requirements of next-generation market infrastructure. Across conversations with regulators, central banks, financial institutions and market participants, a consistent theme emerged: markets scale through trust, settlement certainty and connectivity. As tokenized markets continue to mature, trusted settlement, interoperability and resilience are increasingly recognised as foundational to institutional-scale adoption. We are pleased to be contributing to this next phase of market development and helping shape the infrastructure that will support it. Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) Point Zero Forum
