The road to effective smart data privacy laws implementation isn’t the same for data protection authorities (DPAs). They often face the challenge of integrating data privacy laws with sector specific regulations or adapting to technological advancements. Building on the GSMA - Policy and Regulation team’s engagement in the Global Privacy Assembly, National African Data Protection Authorities (NADPA-RAPD) conference, and MWC Barcelona, on Wednesday, 5 August, we’ll present the learnings on smart data privacy laws implementation. We will also invite regulators and an MNO to share their perspectives on implementation use cases.
