"We want to be able to say to a customer, we understand and we will flex to you and your operation. That's the key." – Aaron Resch Every hospitality business is different. Some operators already have an accounting platform they trust. Others have an accounts payable system they don't want to replace. Others are looking for one platform to manage everything from purchasing to finance. Having spent years running restaurants himself, Aaron knows how frustrating it is to be told that implementing new technology means changing your entire operation. That's why Hops is designed to flex around the way you work, with an "integrate with anything" philosophy that lets operators keep the systems they already love while bringing everything else together in one place. Because technology should work for your operation, not force your operation to work for the technology. 🎧 In this clip from Adam Forman 📶🌐's podcast, Aaron shares why flexibility has always been central to the way we've built Hops. #hospitality #hospitalitytech #hospitalityoperations #restauranttechnology #hoteltechnology Robbie Francis Ally Parsons Alex Morgan Matt Steinhofel Aaron Resch
About us
Hops - Hospitality Operations Simplified. We’re on a mission to simplify the messy, manual backend of running venues — starting with inventory and finance. Built by former operators, Hops is designed for the people who make hospitality happen. Whether you're running a single site or scaling across multiple venues, our platform brings clarity, confidence and control to the daily grind. Hops launched in 2025 as the evolution of Opsimize, with a sharper focus and a cleaner, modular experience. Everything we do is built around real-life operational pain points — not generic software features. Our platform currently includes two powerful modules: Hops Inventory – Real-time stock management that just works. Designed to reduce waste, improve margins and make ordering easier across teams and suppliers. Hops Finance – Smarter cash-ups, invoice reconciliation and accounts payable workflows. Automate the painful stuff and stay on top of the numbers without lifting a spreadsheet. Used by some of the UK’s leading hospitality groups, Hops helps teams save time, reduce errors and get back to what they do best — delivering great guest experiences. We’re proud to partner with forward-thinking operators and resellers across the UK and beyond. If you're looking for tools that work with your team, not against them, you're in the right place. 🔗 Learn more: www.hopshq.com 📩 Get in touch: growth@hopshq.com

"The operator knowledge gap is massive." – Robbie Francis, Founder, Hops At Hops, we've always believed that better operators build better hospitality businesses. 🎓That's why we created Hops Academy: a free learning programme designed to give hospitality teams the practical operational knowledge they need to improve margins, strengthen processes and make more confident decisions every day. It's not about learning the Hops product. It's about empowering the people behind hospitality with the skills they're so rarely taught. If you're a Hops client and would like to find out more about Hops Academy, get in touch with your Account Manager. We'd love to help you get started! "Fast forward nine years... Boundary was being sold and Robbie called me and said, 'Why don't you come and join me on the tech side?". Aaron Resch didn't start his career in hospitality technology. He spent years running restaurants like Boundary Hotel and The Big Easy, experiencing the operational challenges first-hand before helping build Hops. On Adam Forman 📶🌐's latest podcast, Aaron shares the journey from operator to co-founder, the lessons learned along the way, and why hospitality needs technology that's built around operators, not the other way round. ▶️🎙️ Listen and watch the full below https://lnkd.in/eZBdqGBp Robbie Francis Ally Parsons Nathan Moorhouse Matt Steinhofel Alex Morgan

Hospitality is at its best when good people come together. This week, Aaron our MD was delighted to join Christian and Mark Withington from our integration partners Tenzo - Restaurant PerformanceOps at Only A Pavement Away's Punt & Dine in Cambridge. The event brought together hospitality professionals for an afternoon on the river and a summer lunch, all whilst raising funds for the incredible work Only A Pavement Away does to help people rebuild their lives through careers in hospitality. It was a brilliant opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and spend time with people who all share a passion for helping our industry thrive. A huge thank you to Christian, Mark and the Tenzo team for the invitation, and to the Only A Pavement Away team for hosting such a fantastic event in support of a fantastic cause. We're looking forward to many more conversations (and partnerships) on and off the water. #hospitality #hospitalitytech #onlyapavementaway #partnerships #hospitalitycommunity Sam Chance Robbie Francis Alex Morgan Matt Steinhofel Ally Parsons Nathan Moorhouse

Some partnerships stand the test of time. Before joining Hops, Aaron Resch was General Manager at The Boundary Hotel, where he utilised Hops as an operator. Today, the Boundary Rooftop team continues to use Hops to simplify one of hospitality's least-loved tasks: cash-up. As Rooftop Manager Matteo Iacoponi explains: "Cash-up used to be the part of the night everyone dreaded. Now, one click on the till and we understand exactly what happened during service, close with confidence, and protect revenue. Saves the team time every night and gives staff a much better finish. Simple, fast, and molto efficace." Boundary Rooftop has become one of Shoreditch's best-known rooftop destinations, serving guests from breakfast through to late-night drinks against one of London's most recognisable skylines. When service is that busy, every minute saved at the end of the night counts. "I used to look through a variance report and say to my general manager: go away and tell me why we have variances against these three things." For Aaron Resch when he was working at Big Easy or Boundary Hotel that often meant waiting days for an answer. "And two days later, they'd find a smashed box." Today, AI can do much of that detective work automatically, analysing the data, identifying anomalies and highlighting where operators need to look first. As Aaron says, that's where the green shoots are. We're proud to have contributed to Zempler Bank's latest Feeling the Heat report, which explores how hospitality businesses are navigating cashflow pressures and where technology is beginning to make a real operational difference. Alongside insights from HOSPA, the BII, The Nationwide Caterers Association (NCASS), Grateful, CreatePay, 365 Finance and Rouse Partners, the report shares practical advice for operators looking to protect margin and improve visibility. ⬇️ Read the full report in the comments Alex Morgan Aaron Resch Robbie Francis Jay Kotak Ally Parsons Nathan Moorhouse Matt Steinhofel
