Strengthening access to essential nutrition commodities requires collaboration across governments, partners, and technical stakeholders. A review of nutrition commodities portfolio in the Philippines was conducted by the Department of Health (Philippines), Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and some other development partners as discussions continue on strengthening UNIMMAP Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (#MMS) procurement, pricing, and delivery for pregnant women. 🇵🇭 The engagement provided an opportunity to reflect on other life saving nutrition commodities and explore how partners can continue supporting access to UNIMMAP MMS, Small-Quantity Lipid-Based Nutrient Supplements (SQ-LNS), and Balanced Energy-Protein (BEP). These discussions highlight the importance of partnership, evidence, and coordinated action in strengthening nutrition systems and supporting access under government leadership. The Philippine government's commitment to improving access to life-saving nutrition commodities is commendable. Together, continued partnership and coordinated action can help ensure these essential interventions reach every pregnant woman who needs them. innocent foundation | Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) | Department of Health (Philippines) #MaternalHealth #Philippines #MarketShaping #PublicHealth #Nutrition
