They are so much more than just a building 🫱🏼🫲🏼     One of our amazing chosen charities was Inspire Youth Zone Chorley and what a better way to celebrate them than telling you all what they’re about!   We’re so proud to of been able to make a donation to help them 🥰   They were created to empower young people and provide opportunities and support to enable them to grow up to be the best they can be. Their lively and inspirational environment provides a space where young people can feel safe, where they can belong and thrive 🌟   Not only that, but they are also home to the facilities that you can’t find anywhere else in the borough under one roof. From a climbing wall and pottery studio to an underground muga, gym and rec area, all for just 50p per session!   They truly have a huge impact on the lives of young children and seeing the impact they make is truly heart-warming ❤️   We know the money raised will go towards helping so many more people…   Give them some love in the comments 👇🏻

  • Check this before and after 🤯 A huge thank you to Story Contracting Limited for completely transforming our outdoor space. The difference is incredible, and thanks to their generosity, our young people now have a welcoming place to spend time outdoors just in time for the summer holidays. This will make a real difference, helping us create a space where young people can enjoy our offer outside too 💚 Thank you for supporting our community!

  • Shout out to the incredible team at McDonald's Chorley! At the beginning of the year, McDonald's Chorley - Clifford Street chose Inspire Youth Zone as their Community Charity of the Quarter... but the support didn't stop there. Since then they have: 💚Donated an amazing £1,650 💚Created a treat incentive to encourage young people off the streets and into the safety of our Youth Zone 💚Rolled up their sleeves and volunteered alongside our team 💚Opened doors for our young people by sharing employment, apprenticeship and work experience opportunities Most recently, they joined us for World Youth Skills Day, inspiring young people to explore careers and take those important first steps into the world of work. Partnerships like this are about so much more than fundraising. They're about investing in young people, creating opportunities and showing them that local businesses believe in their potential. To everyone at McDonald's Chorley, thank you for your continued commitment to our young people and community. We can't wait to see what we achieve together next!

  • 💚 One man. One idea. One incredible challenge. 💚 Some of the best ideas come at the most unexpected times... and for Alfie, it was a sleepless night that sparked this challenge. His idea to cycle the distance to MetLife Stadium became so much more than a fundraising challenge. It brought so many people together (including other youth zones), inspired hundreds of miles of effort, and raised £330.77! But it wasn't just about raising donations. Together, with everyone's support, we absolutely smashed our target, cycling 3,300 miles as a team! 💚 Alfie, your determination to go above and beyond have been truly inspiring. You threw yourself into this challenge from start to finish, and we're so grateful for everything you've done. The only thing left to do is organise the ride back to Chorley 👀 Thank you to every single person who cycled, donated, cheered us on, or shared the challenge. This was a real team effort, and it wouldn't have been possible without you all. And finally... thank you, Alfie. What started as a last minute idea became something really special. We're incredibly lucky to have you as part of the GREEN team 💚

  • 🚴♂️ 523 miles. 30,748ft climbed. Almost 92 years old. Some people redefine what's possible. Tony Newton completed an incredible 523-mile cycling challenge across the North of England, raising an amazing £19,718.34 for Inspire Youth Zone. From Heskin to Bridlington, Newcastle, Hadrian's Wall, Carlisle and home again, Tony spent just under two weeks in the saddle, proving that determination, generosity and community spirit know no age. This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Tony and his family back to Inspire to celebrate his achievement, present him with a special portrait created by our talented senior members, and thank him for making such a lasting difference to the lives of local young people. The funds Tony has raised will help us continue providing opportunities, trusted support and a safe place for thousands of young people across Chorley. Tony turns 92 next month... but somehow we don't think he's planning on slowing down anytime soon. Read the full story here 👇 https://lnkd.in/epnWTvyg

  • It wasn't the result we were hoping for last night. England's World Cup journey may have come to an end, but here at Inspire, we're still heading for the final... Over the past few weeks we've been taking on Mission to MetLife, collectively cycling 3,300 miles from Chorley to the World Cup Final stadium. We're now less than 300 miles away. No international call-ups. No VAR. Just determination, teamwork and thousands of miles powered by young people and our local community. England might not have made it to MetLife this year, but we can guarantee you.. we will. So now we’re asking you to show your support here. Every donation helps get us across that finish line while raising money to give more local young people somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to. Help them complete the journey: https://lnkd.in/e2CadEA2

  • Could you help us capture more moments that matter? Some of our favourite memories are the ones we capture in the moment: a young person mastering a new skill celebrating an achievement simply laughing with friends To tell those stories well, we rely on good-quality phone cameras. They help us create the photos and videos that show the real impact happening at Inspire every single day. We're looking for a couple of donated iPhones (ideally with a good working camera) that our team can use for content creation around the Youth Zone. If you've recently upgraded your phone, or if your business has surplus iPhones sitting in a drawer, we'd love to give them a new purpose. Every photo and video helps us share our young people's achievements, reach new supporters and secure funding that keeps our doors open. If you think you could help, please get in touch with our team Josie Cawdry Kirsty Peters Stacey Taylor

  • We're so proud of our talented young people whose creativity has made a real impact. The two beautiful vases they created for the FiredUp4Clay Sotheby's Auction have raised an amazing £650 to support the project! From shaping the clay to their work auctioned on stage, this has been an unforgettable opportunity and a testament to the talent of our young people. A huge well done to our young artists, you should all be incredibly proud! 💚
