Networking with a competitive twist! ⛳ Our latest networking event brought together members of the Jewellery Quarter Business community for mini-golf, conversation and plenty of friendly competition at the School of Jewellery. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, welcome new connections and enjoy such a relaxed evening together. We're delighted to see the Jewellery Quarter featured by Condé Nast Traveller for the second time. Their latest roundup of Birmingham's best restaurants shines a spotlight on some of the incredible venues that call the Jewellery Quarter home, including Albatross Death Cult, Txikiteo, Opheem, The Wilderness, Maneki Ramen and Otto. This continued national recognition is a testament to the passion, creativity and ambition of our independent hospitality businesses, helping cement the Jewellery Quarter's reputation as one of the UK's most exciting destinations for food and drink. Celebrating Design Festival North at Saint Paul’s Market Yesterday, we were delighted to support Design Festival North at Saint Paul’s Market, bringing together professionals, makers and innovators from the worlds of furniture, interiors and product design. The event showcased outstanding design talent, creative craftsmanship and forward-thinking ideas, highlighting the growing importance of the design sector within Birmingham and beyond. It was fantastic to see so many people connecting, collaborating and sharing expertise. We’re pleased to announce that Roxanne Guest has been appointed as the new Chair of The Jewellery Quarter BID Board.   Roxanne brings valuable experience, insight and a strong commitment to supporting the continued growth and success of the Jewellery Quarter. As Chair, she will play an important role in helping guide the BID’s work, championing local businesses and strengthening the area as a thriving place to work, visit, live and invest in.   We would also like to thank our outgoing Chair, Henrik Skouby, for his contribution, leadership and dedication to The Jewellery Quarter BID.   We look forward to working with Roxanne and the Board as we continue to deliver for our members and the wider Jewellery Quarter community. 🍻Jewellery Quarter Beer Weekend Named Finalist in the 2026 ATCM Awards🏆 We're delighted to share that Jewellery Quarter Beer Weekend has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2026 Association of Town & City Management Industry Awards. Since its launch, Beer Weekend has grown into one of the Jewellery Quarter's most anticipated events, bringing together local breweries, independent venues, businesses and visitors to celebrate the area's thriving hospitality scene. The event showcases the unique character of the Quarter while driving footfall, supporting local businesses and creating memorable experiences for thousands of attendees. Being recognised at a national level is a testament to the collaboration, creativity and community spirit that make the Jewellery Quarter such a special destination. A huge thank you to all the venues, breweries, partners, volunteers and visitors who have helped make Beer Weekend such a success. What a fantastic evening at our 10th Levy Payers’ Dinner last night. It was a pleasure to bring together businesses from across the Jewellery Quarter for an evening of conversation, connection and celebration. A huge thank you to our levy payers for joining us, and for the continued support you give to the Jewellery Quarter. Your investment helps JQBID deliver projects that make the area a better place to work, visit and enjoy, from business support and promotion to cleaner, greener, safer and more welcoming streets. Thank you also to the brilliant team and talented students at University College Birmingham for hosting us and providing such a memorable dining experience.
