At this year's LCAW more than 290 events during the week were intentionally aligned with the Action Agenda – from electrification and decarbonising industry to scaling climate finance, cutting methane emissions and helping cities prepare for more frequent extreme heat. The Action Agenda is the pillar of the Climate Convention that mobilizes voluntary climate action from civil society, businesses, investors, cities, states and countries to intensify emission reductions, climate adaptation, and the transition to sustainable economies, as set out in the Paris Agreement. It sits alongside the formal negotiations at #COP to drive real-world momentum. #LCAW2026

It’s time to mark your calendars - #LCAW2027 is coming. 🗓️ 19–27 June 2027 London will once again become a meeting point for global climate leadership, bringing together bold ideas, cross-sector collaboration and practical solutions that accelerate climate action globally and locally. Entering its ninth edition in 2027, London Climate Action Week continues to be a key moment in the international climate calendar: a place to connect, influence and turn ambition into action. We’re heading into the final weekend of #LCAW2026, and the energy across London is showing no signs of slowing down. 🌍 For the past week, the city has been buzzing with ideas, collaboration and action, bringing together communities, businesses, policymakers and climate leaders from around the world. From ambitious discussions to new partnerships and practical solutions, London Climate Action Week continues to demonstrate the scale and momentum of climate action taking place today. Here are some highlights from Day 7 👇 🔹 At the Youth Summit today - hosted by Earth Minutes - young leaders took over the Tate Modern to bridge the gap in climate governance, mapping out a clear youth-led roadmap toward COP31 and driving actionable solutions for ocean protection, green tech, and climate resilience. 🔹 At ARUP, “Advancing climate action through strategic urban transformation” showcased how cities can lead change, with Madrid highlighted as a powerful real-world case study. 🔹 Global COP leadership came together at Sustainable Ventures, with Ana Toni (COP30, Brazil), Muktar Babayev (COP29, Azerbaijan) and Kushla Munro (COP31, Australia) driving forward the Belém Mission to 1.5°C. 🔹 At the Climate Security Forum, Katie White OBE MP announced the UK’s first Climate Security Taskforce to strengthen climate security. The forum also saw the launch of the Home Front Report - co-authored by E3G and King's College London’s Department of War Studies - reframing domestic energy efficiency and decarbonisation as core matters of national security. 🔹 A major milestone for clean transport as Mete Coban MBE welcomed HRH Prince William to mark London’s 3,000th zero-emission bus 🔹 The soft launch of the ESG Academy by TERI at the Commonwealth Secretariat marked an important step in building global sustainability skills and collaboration. With two more days of events still to come, there’s plenty more conversation, collaboration and action ahead. #LCAW2026

Another exciting day awaits at #LCAW2026 as we head into the final weekend of events. Today, the Youth Summit takes over Tate Modern, hosted by Earth Minutes. Here, young people are leading the conversation on what a just and liveable future actually looks like. Later, the LCAW Official Closing Celebration takes place at The Conduit, hosted by The Conduit, LCAW, E3G and Levy. This special gathering offers a chance to reflect on the ideas, partnerships and momentum generated throughout the week. Registration only. So far, #LCAW2026 has brought together leaders from across climate, business, finance, government and civil society, showcasing the power of collaboration in driving climate action. And with a full weekend of events still ahead, the conversation and momentum continue.
