Great search work has a way of showing people what they might not see in themselves. That's the value of working with a specialist consultant who genuinely understands the market they operate in. Not just the roles, but the people behind them. Understanding where their strengths lie, what they might overlook in themselves, and where they'd genuinely thrive. One leader shared this feedback after working with Charlie Webb:

We called this one "Structured for Yesterday" for a reason. Most conversations about AI in supply chain focus on adoption - how is the technology being used? Ours focuses on something we think matters more right now: is the org chart keeping up with it? This isn't a gap that opened overnight. It's a lag that has been building for six years, and it shows up most clearly in the roles meant to be leading through it. The full paper sets out where that lag sits, and which roles are furthest behind. Coming soon.

There has been no shortage of headlines about how AI is transforming the supply chain function. MHI and Deloitte's Rewiring the Future 2026 report found 71% of supply chain leaders already say AI is disrupting their function. 48% say the impact is significant or greater - up 25 points in a single year. With our unique access to the market, we wanted to know: is that actually showing up in how the roles running supply chains are being hired for? So we went into our own archive supply chain job briefs we've placed between 2020 and 2026, and hand-coded every one against AI and transformation-related language. Our early finding: most supply chain organisations aren't failing to adopt AI, rather they are failing to redesign the teams responsible for running it. Our first research paper sets out exactly where that lag sits, and how far it has already opened. Full paper coming soon.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. Off the back of a record breaking H1, our London office marked a huge Q2 with a whole-office trip down to Brighton Beach. The timing lined up perfectly with a headline set from Fatboy Slim at On The Beach festival now in its sixth year and a defining part of Brighton's summer calendar. Sun, sand, and one of dance music's biggest names made for the perfect backdrop to a day off well earned. A brilliant day out, and exactly the reset the team needed heading into the next big quarter.

𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇1 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 Behind every record-breaking half is the work of individuals who show up, put in the hours, and back themselves to deliver for clients and candidates alike. This H1 was one of the closest yet, a number of exceptional performances across the team meant the margins at the top were razor thin. Congratulations to: James Allen, Client Consultant - H1 Top Biller with an outstanding £400k. With James moving to Austin in August to help build out the division there, he's earned a paid-for holiday of his choice... Miami is currently top of the list. Connor Ives, Search Consultant - H1 Top Biller, again! Back-to-back excellence, rewarded with a £500 gift voucher to a retailer of his choice . And an honourable mention to Chris Burnett, who's had a record-breaking first 12 months at nexus and earns his place in the Hall of Fame. Individual wins, built on a team that pushes each other forward. Excited to see where H2 takes us.

𝐇1 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞. 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧. At the start of the year, we set an ambitious target. Everyone in the team got behind it, and our Finance Head made sure we always knew exactly what "on track" looked like. We didn't just hit it. We smashed our June record. Then our Q2 record. Then our H1 record. It hasn't all been plain sailing, but this is a team that learns fast, backs each other, and keeps pushing. That shows in how we work as much as in the numbers. H1 also gave us plenty to celebrate: 7 promotions, 8 team members qualifying for our Mykonos incentive trip this August, and personal wins along the way too - new houses bought, marathons and HYROX events completed. Proud of what this team has built in six months. Same again in H2? Let's go!!

What turns consumer demand into commercial growth? Aaron Quaintance sat down with us to discuss AB InBev return to volume growth, the role of major brands like Corona & Stella Artois, and why supply chain is so central to capturing market momentum.

𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍 | 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 | 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 An exciting phase for our US team, and for Nexus as a whole. Off the back of a record-breaking start to the year and a bigger brand new office space, we're expanding the food and beverage division with two Associate hires, reporting directly into Greg Haydon and Chris Burnett. Nexus exists because senior supply chain search deserves specialist focus. Our consultants don't work volume desks, they build deep expertise in supply chain, operations, procurement leadership, and they're trusted by some of the world's most significant organisations to find the people who run them. If you're considering a future in executive search, this is what's on offer: → Exposure to multi-billion-dollar clients from day one → A genuine stake in scaling key accounts already worth millions in revenue → Involvement in senior and executive-level mandates, often $100k+ placements → Reward structures that reflect the calibre of work 2026 has started strong, and our growth plans for both London and Austin reflect that. If you're thinking about your next challenge, we’d like to hear from you.

The Austin team have officially upgraded their office space!! Backed by a strong start to the year and ambitious growth plans for the US, it felt like the right moment to upgrade the space, and put a proper Nexus stamp on it. A huge thank you to Georgina Fisher for bringing it all together. The team's reaction says everything.
Excited to share what I’ve been working hard on recently for Nexus Search new Austin office! I was tasked with branding the new office, and I wanted the space to feel cohesive and truly reflective of the brand from the moment you walk in. Seeing the full vision come to life has been such a rewarding process, and I’m really proud of how it all came together. Grateful to the Nexus team and to Max Fitzgerald for trusting me with this project ⭐️ #Branding #OfficeDesign #WorkspaceDesign #OfficeBranding
