Several years ago when I was working at Ancestry, myself, Brad Argent, Michala Hulme (and Rachelle Abbott!) created three seasons of the #podcast Behind The Headlines of History. In each episode, Brad and Michala share intriguing headlines from old newspapers and explore what happened to the people in the stories. It was such a blast to work on, and now the band's back together for season 4, in all its vodcast glory! We're launching a podcast (yes, another one) 👀 But are you tired of hearing the same old AI posts on here? You know, the posts that say "Comment on this post to get a prompt that will take your job' type gubbins 🙃 Well, Chris Nightingale and I have teamed up to launch a new podcast series on AI, Automation, and Performance Marketing. No “AI will take your job” fear-mongering rubbish, just two lads talking about how they use AI in their day-to-day (with a touch of trivia and waffle). We want to make AI accessible and demystify its real uses for everyone, not just jump on hype, so it's actually useful. Chris and I first started chatting about AI and automation earlier this year, and he’s cooked up damn impressive tools and uses for AI in his work. We’ve just filmed Episode 1 at the lovely Outset Studio, and we’re already planning the next with some banging guests lined up 👀. The first episode drops at the end of August, so keep your eyes peeled 💃🏻

I had the pleasure of helping to film this series with Charlotte, Sarah, and Calvin last week. A truly moving, difficult story to listen to, but one that needs to be heard. I can't begin to imagine what Calvin has been through but by sharing his experience, hopefully we can help to make our roads safer, and make sure that stories like his are far fewer in the future. There aren't many better ways to spend the afternoon than a natter with this man, Andrew Johnston. We’ve hung out all over the world — from Tokyo to Vegas to London. One of the true gents of the industry and an incredibly humble chap to boot.
